Which server has a good population?

Hello everyone, I am an English speaking player from West Asia. I have kind of tried all the servers and am confused which one to invest in. The gameplay and ping doesnt seem to differ much for me in any server. The NA English server does seem to have a lot of bots in the starter area though.

Sea server is closer to home and costs lesser for TP but it seems deserted at times and the people are very clannish. The EU server seems to have a decent pop minus the bots but a lot of non english folks.

I just want a server where I can find parties for raids, be able to join an active guild and be able to make friends. Which one would you recommend?

best server so far is klaipeda (NA) atm
itos is full of bugs tho and laggy servers

but if you wanna still give a shot NA > all

fidmian, orsha and klaipeda are ghost towns compared to other servers

My highest char, a lvl 65 Hoplite in Telsai. I have actually been able to talk to people here. In the NA server, people just ignore ya and move away. I have tried talking to the people in towns. I just want a populated server.

Trashtalking and swag are sadly part of every online game :slight_smile: Cant escape that. So I don’t consider that an inhibitor.

I haven’t got the slightest idea XD, I made a char in Tel, then quickely made one each in other servers, skipped tutorial and ran to main town. Tel, Fedimian and Klaipeda have lot of people in Channel 1 main town. The other servers look a bit deserted.

idk about other server
but from my obersavtion sea server is the most populated server in tos
varena and telsai
varena got more population than telsai
and varena and telsai share que in dun,mission,event so its not problem!
atleast for me i dont have to shout to que in dun except when its odd time when most ppl in sea sleeping

Just so you know, you will find more people in Fedimian(town) than in Klaipeda(town) or Orsha((ghost)town). Your highest char is lvl 65 so i guess you’ve never been there(Fedimian) before. Just follow the quest line and you’ll be there in no time(around lvl90-100). :wink:

Oh, SEA servers are the most populated, Varena is just a tad more populated than Telsiai.

A lot of maps seem empty. Other than grindy maps like Church I occasionally run into another person in other maps XD I used to play Ragnarok many years ago and it always had more people around :smiley:

How many people do you think Tel would have at peak times?

TOS shows 5000 (all servers combined) at peak on a stat website.

I play in Telsiai and so far I don’t seem to any trouble with low population.

What’s your team name by the way? If you ever need someone to talk to or help out some of us might be more than happy to help

try iRO now, i’ll tell you that the population there is worse than iTOS currently.
The lag is worse too.

In TOS a lot of maps are near empty simply because they aren’t viable for anything aside from quests and item/mat/recipe hunting.

Tenet Garden and Church is popular because of high spawn rate + BB and gems (church) (inb4 bots - but there are a lot of humans too, since every new char almost always do main quests up to church)

on higher levels there are also ‘grind’ maps like Dina Bee and DP2, Alemeth, Storage, Evac, Timerys etc. etc.
