Should I pick skullsmasher, heart of glory or regal horn staff for my farmer pyro/tharm3/link/sorc/sm2?
Will you use it for buffing or bring it to end-game and skip Lv 350 weapon?
If skip, get Horn staff for highest damage.
If no skip, get skullsmasher for buff (higher stat bonus) and weapon-swap to Primus 350 staff or Masinios 350 for end-game.

It’s not going to be my main so I will probably not go overboard with investment.
Does regard horn staff outdamage skull smasher + shield with int+spr or you are considering refinement too?
err… horn staff still 3 socket, better get HG staff with 5 slot
old 2 hand weapon isnt a good investment because new one all has 5 slot

I’ve run some spreadsheet calculations where int, spr, refinement (11, no trans), gems (3x LV7), mamp, and certain buffs (thaum, enchant fire, enchant lightning) are considered. I’ve observed that regard horn staff outdamages skull smasher, but the degree of outperformance depends on your atk-def ratio. Against the highest def (5500), the outperformance is an insignifant 1%. On a lower number (3000 def), it’s a bit bigger (7% outperformance).

i like rod/mace for farming , shield is good for potato rooting chance armor
It’s almost as free weapon. Thauma farmer don’t need much investment in their weapon altho I would go skullsmasher instead if I have to choose.

staff, because pyro staff attribute
