Should i go either doppel or hop2 for my cataphract, it’s sword>pelt>hop>cata3>?>lancer
I heard doppel cata is good so i was wondering should i do that instead of hop2
Current stats: 50str/con, rest dex
Lancer isn’t advisable for those with Peltasta in their builds due to Lancer skills being 2h-spear exclusive.
Of course you can switch 2h spear with 1h+shield, but you’ll be shutting down a whole rank (Pel or Lancer) in either stance. It gets worse when ping is an issue.
It’s a waste of rank if you’re only going to be using Peltasta for Swashbuckling. It’s a 1-circle wonder with all 3 skills relevant even at endgame content.
I’d recommend going Dragoon C2 instead.
If you really want lancer well since you already got hoplite 1 then go hoplite 2 in rank 7. Dragoon 2 is a way to go though.
