Quite overwhelmingly western, even the city names are European
TOS is mostly inspired from Lithuanian mythology, so I suppose it follows the European theme.
Barbarians = Outsiders or rebels during the Roman occupation. But the outfit for male is somewhat from Lithuania/Norse reference since it’s composed of animal leather & fur and some iron plating attached to the knee,s and some parts of the body mostly the limbs.
