Which classes to main?

OK, so I’ve built quite a few different classes by now, it’s time I choose a few classes and start investing in them.

Seems like if I wanna carry in Saalus, it’s best to go with single target classes like falconer or doppel. I probably won’t do any QS because Masinios Crossbow is expansive I assume. What would be a strong single target class that is relatively cheap to transcend the weapon (such as one that uses primus raffye or the 315 orange)? Preferably a class that I only need to invest in main weapon (or sub, but just 1 weapon)

I haven’t done sausy CM yet. What kind of classes are most helpful in CM that I should invest in first?

For dungeons, probably AoE dps is best, so I chose elemlock and zealot for this situation.

The next trans patch will make it so you can transfer via team storage and sell your trans equips. It means if you make a good mace, it will work both good for cleric and wiz. For cm - the best solo is c1-priest3-chappa-krivis3-inq1 for AA build, since it ignores almost all def/mdef. Look for youtube videos.

Not every QS build requires masinios crossbow, QS-Falc-Mergen for example, does a fair amount of damage without the crossbow.

There’s also a nice synergy with aiming and pheasant>caltrops

Shadowmancer.

Doppel works but you’d have to invest a whole lot more in it.

@raydensorc lol you suggested one of the few builds I don’t have XD I do plan to have an inquisitor, but a paladin3 one instead. Well I’m not asking for solo specifically, just something that is helpful in a team doing CM.

@Lostac yea QS3-falc3 is a strong auto attacker with bow, but woudln’t it be best to have a Masinios crossbow for higher level Running shot? Shadowmancer is a great idea!! Probably gonna get an untradable skull smasher so it can boost thaum buffs. Single target lock on (some bosses LOVE to move their assess…) with short animation, high overheat, and low cooldown.

Yeap, it’s nice to have a higher level RS damage but that’s not really the main reason for QS3>Falc>mergen.

RS is more of a filler+easy positioning/reposition with spread shot.

I built a Archer 2 > QS 3 > Falc 3 > Mergen and it works nicely. Don’t worry too much about RS levels.

go for ele3. best wizard ever.
have a 1 screen aoe, with relatively moderate cd.
saalus bosses melt with 1 hail on 5k matk.

ele = everything

@Lostac wait… It’s not? I’ve been playing QS3-falc3-merg as an auto attacker all this time, with merg skills being the fillers… How do you play it then? Merg skills cost quite a lot of SP with high cooldown…

@Naght oh yea elemlock is insane alright… That’s why I’m already choosing elemlock, and now shadowmancer too.

Well, I do AA a lot but that’s while trying to move around. I use skills as much as possible.

You can have rafene cards and rikaus cards to support your sp pool without spending spr.
