Which class does the least auto attacking?

i remember way back when, sometimes all you could do was auto attack because skill cooldowns were long and limited.

whats it like now?

Not sure what you are talking about, If it was on the first iCBT where we could only hit around R3.

Now depending on your building you have so many freaking skills that may not even fit on the skill bars.

And classes with small to no CD there are a few.

lv 1 archer
you get a 0 cd skill
scout and fletcher got 0 cd skills too
tho you wont use this skills at end game bec tos scaling mechanics </3

Almost no build relies on AA anymore, unless you build specifically for it (QS3, Chaplain?).

Auto attack builds/classes are crap now, doppel for example are using auto attacks only if they are barbs to stack frenzy faster.

So it doesn’t really work anymore, except the stacking elemental damage (additional lines) and property attack, which, imo, does a correct amount of damage without sacrificing too much.

rainbow builds which I against it will do or any class with 0 CD skills.
Chaplain and quarrel shooter is still master of AA until now

Also, for giving a reason: “Why no one uses Auto Attack (AA)?”

AA scales only from your Physical or Magic Attack (Attack Value), there are some exceptions such as when you’re using additional lines like @Aotsuke said or for QS3 that gets a % increase of AA damage.

In the game current state almost all new DPS skills have high base damage. It is pretty much like adding a % modifier to AA along with +5k “free” Attack Value from skill, for example. Even the skills with lower base damage are better because their % modifier or their special behavior and AoE ability.

In a summary, you’re losing A TON of damage by only auto attacking, so no one does that anymore and there’s almost no classes that fits or motivate it. As long you pick a build that makes sense you will almost never keep auto attacking and will use it only in certain cases, especially in parties.

Attack Value: Trying to use a name that fits for both Magic and Physical Attack for explaining.
