Which build for Fletcher? Automatic weapon swapping quick?

Aiming for a PvP viable build with Fletcher but now also C3 QS seems like an option due to its low SP use, high damage and mobility (for Bodkin, assuming it actually dispels all protective buffs on players - which has come into question, magic arrow still seems fairly strong however).

Up to 3 builds now (supposedly jumping messes with pets and retrieve and falconer can now use skills when flying and xbows can be used with fletcher skills)

C3 QS + C3 Fletcher

C3 QS + C2 Archer + C2 Falconer

C3 Archer + Scout + C3 Fletcher (Magic arrow from stealth = 25 shots, arde damage added to each?)

As for stats, still unsure. High Con and then I’m leaning towards SPI or Dex for Fletcher (since it will be much more mana intensive) or STR for the QS3 build but maybe Dex is better with Swift Step C2 giving it +25% plus it giving you dodge which is useful in PvP.

Don’t mind answering any questions behind motivations to my choices. Spent the better part of the day theorycrafting and reading up and learned a lot.

Works so well it bugs out so you can use Runing Shot with a two-handed bow.
Should get patched eventually, switching weapons normally via Weapon Swap ain’t even that slow anyways. Every Rank2 class has it for a reason.

That’s not going to happen in PvP.

And for your builds where you put your points is a wee bit too important for you to not mention it, use ze simulator.

Why wouldn’t that work in pvp? Wizard’s sleep is weaker than stone shot, and they can cast all of the Icewall-pp combo safely.

Because the real PvP in this game are group battles, and in these group battles Plague Doctor will become an staple eventually, and now with Runecaster even mages can setup status resistance buffs.
Oracle also just nulifies sleep too, not to mention oh I don’t know, the rest of the members in the enemy party like their own Archer will see an Archer casting Multi Shot an easy target.

A single target stun with a duration of more than 10 seconds, that isn’t a skill shot and can be cast once a second is plenty strong enough for pvp.

Unless we get a really solid ‘buff before we fight’ system like dark souls 2 has, and some sort of honour system that prevents the other team from interrupting, I don’t think you can just handwave all status effects away like that.

And really, once per second. Can PD cure it that often?

Plague Doctor and Oracle can straight up setup immunity buffs as can Runecaster.
The arenas last time I checked don’t have that system but there is a small pseudo ‘‘preparation area’’ with a wall in which most people are going to stay a little to buff before going out.

Well stone shot seems to have a rather low chance to stun it seems together with an awkward animation making it not too viable in PvP. Pets supposedly get wonky when trying to retrieve and the opponent jumps (so without fix hunter C2 is not too useful either) and falconer knockdowns and full draw likely will be useless vs swordsmen due to pain barrier.

Sleep etc will likely yes get cancelled out by Plague Doctor if they fix the blootletting skill, fumigate alone and dispel won’t be enough to ward off 5+ CC’s. Plague Doctor itself is largely CC immune with the mask.

As for archer jobs, seems like there’s precious little good CC then, Rogue has darkness, if it even works at all? Not much utility either which seems worth it and I wonder if a high CON archer really puts out better damage than a full con wizard. Remains to be seen however and I want to try to make Archer work but Plague Doctor is my safe bet should I be unsure at release.

Also, thinking Monk + PD might actually be good, C2 for silence and mana drain attack, double punch alone is pretty good and a CC immune melee class with heals and anti-CC group utility seems strong. Also your debuffs (like bleed and silence) from your melee attacks can be used for incinerate.
