I think I must be missing some npc that will trigger that boss fight
I want to know which boss and map will drop this item

You need to complete a sidequest at Gateway of the Great King. The NPC to start it is near the Thaumaturge Master, I think.
Yes you did, If I am not mistaken, you have to do a quest on one of the npcs at “Gateway of the Great King” map in order to get a recipe for the armor itself.
yep the npc side quest give those recipe, and the material drop from each boss (side quest) at gateway of the great king map
