I’m trying to use addons but I don’t know which of them can get me banned. I heard that using that “zoom” thingy can get me banned. What about Boss Tracker and Boss Notice? Also, can you guys please tell me what addons do you recommend using aside from Map Mate, Treasure Map, War Mode, Tool Tip Helper, and Better Quest.
All add-ons that don’t give an unfair advantage or break the game to others…
like a piece of paper it all depends on how you use it…
Zoomy+ is great for camera work, but if you use it for example to view farther than your enemy in PVP then you will get in trouble…
the add-ons I use now are: better quest, hide maxed attribute and zoomy+
before that I have others, so…
I suggest you to wait a least a couple of days after R10 because some addons usually don’t work properly after big patches, wait for the communitys feedback first.

Would you say being able to see where the boss is in the map is an unfair advantage to others? Do you think using that can get me banned? Sometimes I wander off to different maps to do quest and I encounter boss unexpectedly. Not World Boss but Field Boss or something. The only reason I wanted to use Zoomy+ before is bcoz I can’t finish the quest for getting the special costume for Shadowmancer. I just gave up and changed class instead. Thanks for responding.
@manolopassini Alrighty. I’ll uninstall those I have installed then. Can they somehow make the game not work anymore? Before, like 2 years ago, my friend used an addon then a patch was updated. Then the client doesn’t run after that. Thanks for responding too.
Could happen, Also, some of those addons listed are outdated \ discontinued so be aware of this.
Like I said before, its a grey line and it depends if staff think it is or not, I would see it as unfair cause not everyone get that advantage and it also depends if its a recurrent/common boss thing where you go straight to the boss before anyone else has a fair chance of doing the same…

I was told to use an Addon Manager. I believe using that will say if the addon is outdated or discontinued.

I guess I better not use it. I’ll just use the addon for maps and quests. Also, reducing graphics to lessen lag. PC needs higher RAM I think.
yes, the add-on manager is how I get them 
I use about 30 different addons, some not available in the addon manager.
Define advantage. Literally every single one gives you some kind of advantage.
Use the addons available in the addon manager. However, they’re not supported by IMC and many of them are outdated and don’t work correctly and may cause bugs or break some functionalities.
