13.8 billion years ago, for whatever reason there was an explosion of incomprehensible size. This gave birth to a chaotic universe that contained so much energy nothing was able to stabilize. Over billions of years, as this universe expanded the energy was spread thin enough to condense into matter. From this primordial soup grew stars, massive collections of gas, matter inside of these fused together to fuel these massive nuclear powerhouses. Finally these giants grew old and tired. Spent of their fuel they would die in a marvelous fashion spreading heavy elements throughout the cosmos. This process was repeated for eons upon eons slowly spreading enough material to form solid, non nuclear oblique spheroids. One odd such planet existed in an odd orbit in an odd solar system in an odd galaxy. Something very unlikely and strange began to happen, the heavy elements spread by the destruction of innumerable stars began to combine in strange ways. These strange combinations started to interact with the environment to form even stranger combinations. They finally became strange enough to interact with themselves and duplicate themselves, not perfectly but with very minor deviations. Over millions and millions of years these strange interactions formed “life”. Life began to take over the natural state of the planet, spreading, changing, evolving. An odd species of primates arose after many eons, these primates had an aptitude for manipulating their environment, they eventually developed tools which they used to create and destroy. Their tools soon became more powerful, they used these tools to mutilate their own kind to claim resources. As clams mutilated other clans they gained more and more resources, they eventually formed communities of like clans. These grew larger, claimed more resources and formed nations. These nations made even greater tools that formed greater desctruction. Thankfully these primates had “intelligence” and they decided to regulate their most destructive tools. Society was cemented and the modern era was born.
All of these unlikely miracles transpired over 13.8 billion years, and even more human lives have transpired. All their toil, blood, hopes and dreams. All of this lead to this day…

But seriously though. Madoka Magica is one of my most favorite anime and I’m so happy they’re making a new movie and potential series.
Really glad I didn’t off myself a few years ago.
Kind of wish they made an anime of Kazumi Magica.
