Where can I find a philosophy of every class?

Before I give feedback which mostly relate to class, I think it would be better If I know the idea behind their design so are there any good and trusted references(in English) that can help me. Also information about game mechanics or system would be great too.

Highlander = Scotland warriors

Peltast & Hoplite = Ancient Greeks

Rodelero = Spanish Conquistador soldiers

Cataphract = Old name for armored cavalry

Doppelsolder = european frontline mercenary

Quarrel Shooter = reference to Pavise Crossbowmen

Sapper = another name for Combat Engineers

Wugushi = a tribe in china?/mongolia? that uses poison

Fletcher = those who make the arrows for archers

Reiters = mounted calvary armed with guns

Krivis = baltic priests

Priest = roman catholic priest

Diverbys = baltic wood craftsmen

Bokor = vodoo shamans, haiti terminology

Paladin = ‘knights’ of the holy roman empire

Sadhu = hindu holy man/woman

Druid = celtic religious leaders

Thaumaturge = miracle workers - referring to christians performing miracles in ancient greece

Here’s some info about Wugushi: http://verynanchang.com/forum/topics/chinese-obscuria-26-wu-gu-chinese-black-magic

Your necromancer description made me fall under the table xD

Sorry for very late reply, What I meant is the reference of class character,skill attribute in term of game mechanism. For example It should be like “Sword man class is the basic melee class because it is the first class so its skills are not complicate and have low cooldown etc. . .”

The good example would be Diablo 3. When any class need to change, update, redesign. The developer always give reasons and references

PS. English is not my native language so I apologize for every misunderstanding.

Hahahahahaha… This one is gold.

There are only 2 effective classes in tree of savior

Krivis - mage with a heal

Highlander - kill everything with a giant sword

everything else are flavor classes

you forgot barbarian

highlander is prereq for effective barbarian.

+10% crit damage to 2h sword attribute

and optional cross guard skill

all at c1 highlander

I agree, I have 4 char for each class and my Highlander is fastest grinding class not to mention he can deal insane amount of damage to boss too. For Krivis I will try it soon but from what I read it’s skill it seem to be what you mention

I understand that developer try to design each class to be unique and fascinating. Unfortunately, most of them is not working. I’m not sure what goes wrong here. May be class design in really lack good concepts or they poorly executed it, but one thing I know for sure, IMCGAMES have a ton of work to do.
