Seriously, Cannon still has no skill gems in 2019. I got exchange boxes from rebuild, but no cannoneer skill gems to obtain.

I timetraveled to the ktos section of tos.guru and theres still no cannon gem, this is an outrage.

Cannoneer is not worse off as all Rank 8 Classes, who don’t have any monster gem either.
Then there are the skills which were left out during the Rank system because they were deemed to be not worthy of a monster gem as they only had 5 skill levels.
Imo now with Ranks abolished, all skills which have more than 1 skill level should have a monster gem and monster gems should be equipped separately from other gems
(e.g. into accessories, head accessories, seals, Class costumes or new character sockets)
so we can make the most out of our characters without heavily crippling them by equipping a monster gem instead of another gem that could provide accuracy/evasion/defense/attack instead.
New skills don’t count as they don’t exist currently. They were created together with new monster gems and/or were reassigned to old gems which lost their skill due to being deleted.
E.g. Miko only has one monster gem, for the new Omikuji skill (recycled Deadborn Scap Archer gem)
Enchant Glove is a Scout skill after all, not an Enchanter(Wizard) skill.
Theres no real purpose for skill gems other than collection
just look
skill gem +1 skill level that provides almost nothing if u dont even have that skill maxed its useless
Divine might add +1 skill gem to every skill for free
After rebuild they nerf sfr to the ground so it will be even worse
my suggestion is to change how skill pts work
instead of only sfr it should add some bonuses so we can feel that every point invested matters
for example:
Meteor
lv1 - just unlock skill
lv2 - sfr and +1 aoe ratio for meteor
lv3 - sfr and +10% chance to stun targets
lv4 - sfr and + immune to knockback while cast
lv5 - sfr and +3 aoe ratio for meteor
lv6 (divine might) - sfr and apply burn, cannot be evaded
skill gem - launch second meteor with half effect after cast
profit 
Or use as consumables for permanent skill level +1.
