Silly titles aside, I was doing, or should I say trying, to do quests on my alt and needed to go to dina bee farm.

You know what’s coming, right…

IMC “fixed” the sorcerer afk by stopping the summon from attacking if the wiz isn’t doing anything, why nothing for necromancer? It’s way worse than sorcerer in the first place.
I also forgot to mention than some of them were macroing, obviously.

Sad thing is that I wasn’t alone, there was maybe 2-3 normal players just trying to do their quests but couldn’t get anything.

yeah the last time I went there for 3 mins I got a few exp cards and 2 monster gems meowhahha

but if the afkers who don’t cheat are “fixed” then all that will be left are the more hardcore cheaters. it would be easier for IMC to make necro afk farming a feature than to solve the bot problems that are rampant in this game.

you do a few quest in that area and then you are done. I was never really hindered by them though the myth goes that that area used to be a grinding spot.

In the mean while, you can go to the northern area and do the quests through there, the ones that require killing tho.

And as @Noxot pointed out, you can always take advantage of these parasites and take the stuff they left behind, my friend and I sometimes go there to farm Dungeons Vouchers, we get lots and that help lots on leveling Alts or simple selling them in market, not to count the amount of materials we can get to use in Gem leveling.

Yeah you’re right on this point, I recorded a video where I grabbed a red orb and a clear voucher, but the video wasn’t properly showing.

iTOS is already losing its players like water passes through a colander, maybe they should at least minimize the loss with the new players.
But then it will be the salty ones who got their afk character ruined who will whine.

So these sorcs are macroing then, i tough that the patch just dint work LOL

so does that mean that IMC is indirectly teaching how to macro even for users who only did just sorc

yeah seeing someone afk farming is a relief compared to seeing those douchebags who bot and keep rezing when they die like that sorcerer in vedas plateau does.

I agree with everything here.

Though in my opinion, i’d rather see the lesser of two evils (the botters) do the farming than players doing the macroing.

Check out some of the Warlocks in Telsiai who can cover a whole area.

well, it would end if IMC would give Necromancers summons an incurable decay debuff like Bokors Zombies have. That’s the easiest solution and doesn’t affect the players that much as they always gather enough corpses to resummon.
The afkers/makroers will run out eventually this way, though.

Until then the only solution is to murder them with Changed monsters lured to their feet xD

I don’t know which is worse: Necros/Sorcerers or Chrono/Wls.

I know these very well in DP2… But at least they are not afk, they need to run or else they’ll lose their drop.

Still, it’s really annoying.
Meanwhile we have the doppel, the class which is supposed to have the highest income for high risk - no one uses their doppel like this, we simply can’t because DPE is bad, or at least very situational.
And then there is some wizards, no risk, no effort, huge income… (triggered doppel main here)

I notice ones who legitly aren’t using macros (also ones who are actually in front of their computer even if they might be using macros and invites me to a leech party), then there are those who AFK macros 24/7 like they own the place, running in a set route so they can pickup loots while re-invocating.

Too bad Falconer’s hawk is too slow to be considered AFK-farming material. :smiley:

It’s just bad. The “attack limit” thing sucks. Why they create that if the skill already have low duration AND doubles received damage? Geez.

because afk-necro farming is a legit feature not a cheat/illegal.

This thread seems like a healthy discussion but in real, its a certain group of people want to disturb the game mekanics for their own sake/agenda.

But seriously, thread closed or not, cheating or not, if they really wanted to do something about the afk necro (or other professionalism in this tree), they would have done it ages ago… Because it’s considered as “using the class how it has been designed”

this afk necro dinabee issue is as insignificant as the amd-graphic-card-head-spinning issue, among others.

I can only agree with this, I remember it well even though it was my beginnings.

I love the game, indeed, but I hate its management. I bought TP only one time, it was months ago and I’ll never give them money again, they simply don’t deserve it.
And it will keep going until people stop throwing cash or at least protest against what is wrong with the game…

But now when I see players insta-buying whatever comes out in the TP shop, welp, we’re plain fckd bois.
At least I don’t have to pay for costumes now that they are tradable, thanks IMC, SUCH A GREAT COMPANY!!!
