When will the game be available?

I’ve had my eye on this game since before beta, and knew that it launched a few weeks ago.
I didn’t know that launched games could be "un-launched."
Had I known, I would have downloaded the game and could be playing right now.

I’m a veteran Classic RO player, and this game had a similar feel to it.
I don’t mind the lag, I can put up with bots and bugs…

There has not been a game in history, for any game company, that’s had a launch free of issues… But you know what, you don’t see them shutting out new players?! I’ve never heard of something so foolish.
You’re running a business and turning away interested individuals willing to invest in your product…

I would feel reassured if there was some sort of ETA so I can place my expectations. As of now, I check the site everyday only to experience disappointment.

Set my expectations.

You can still download…

steam://install/372000

I’ve tried, doesn’t work.

Thanks bro, But i’ve tried that. I think steam caught on to the workaround and fixed it.

It doesn’t work anymore.
I just tried it again. All it does is load the TOS page on steam and sits there.

Seems like it.
One other way would be to use Windows CMD and use the steam://install stuff as an argument to already running steam.exe.

If you are dedicated enough, you could do it like the one guy and setup a Linux USB stick, run WINE and install it from there.

Probably too much hassle for most people though.

(On a side note, the game is running great in WINE, so there is no need to be annoyed by Win10 ads anymore :stuck_out_tongue:)

Yea I followed reddit and did it through command prompt, didn’t work either. Loads the ToS page on steam and sits there.

I’m not sure what wine is, but I have a linux ubuntu virtual OS?

WINE is a translation layer for Windows programs.

It can make your Unix system (Linux, Mac, etc.) run Windows programs.

However, I don’t think it would giver other results than the Windows command line tool, even though the post of N3G4 sounds like it.

my steam filepath is in the 64 bit program files folder, then some other subfolders, so I had to modify the instructions a bit.

I contemplated downloading the Korean client and somehow finding a way to play the NA servers.

I highly recommend waiting until they actually fix and make the legit download available again…

If you download the game to play as it is now, and then come back to this forum to complain about the game I swear to Odin…

Also I don’t know how people are saying the game was “launched”, the game was always in Beta after CBT ended. This is not a commercial release.

You would think, but I’ve seen some ■■■■.
I don’t bother complaining because there are already others doing it for me.

People that downloaded the game before download was disabled have the right to complain about the game.

If you go around the download restriction that is there to prevent people from having a bad first impression, and then complain about the game not being up to expectations. That’s when you deserve cancer.

Agreed. Thankfully i’ve been watching twitch streamers for ToS for a few days so I know what to expect…

At least to a certain degree.
I’m just annoyed that others are getting ahead of me, and I can’t do anything about it because I can’t play the game.

Don’t worry about it man.
You’ll have plenty of time to catch up as soon as the game is smooth.

And well, if you are aware of the situation, go for it. I mean… The game is fun and all, you know what I’m talking about, even with tons of problems, the game is a hell of fun.

My point exactly.
That’s why I want to play it regardless of it’s current state.

If anyone knows a way to download the game that actually works, let me know.

Would like some attention from IMC games.
I’m fine with playing the game in its current state. Games will always have bots, bugs, glitches, and optimization issues to some extent.

When will the game be available once more.
Can you set my expectations?
Are we talking days? Weeks? Months?

I know the “Official Word” is that there will be an announcement at some point…
As it stands, I’m excitedly checking the site everyday thinking “Today is the day” only to end with disappointment.

You are not alone my friend. The lack of communication on the issue is appalling. I would think IMC would set some sort of time frame for the people waiting to play the game; I truly hope they realize that the longer they delay with a 'time-frame" even if it is fake, loses them customers every day.

Eventually, people will give up on checking steam/web for info on when the game is available for downloads every day, find something else to play; and completely forget about ToS.

An announcement of any kind would be appreciated… something along the lines of:

  1. Goals to be attained before reopening servers to new players.
  2. Estimated time frame. (Even if its completely off; it helps!)
  3. An updateable log showing which goals have been achieved; which are being worked on; and what has yet to be addressed at all.

This would give all of us that WANT to play, the information we need to know, so we can accurately estimate the amount of time before we need to check again. Currently we are stuck checking constantly, worrying it will open for a tiny window and close again, resulting in probably missing it if not glued to steam/website.

tldr: can we get some info please, pretty please?

If the staff don’t have time for me (or us) in this case, then I don’t have time for them either.

I don’t want to sound like I’m “entitled” to anything, but there’s no word or status update whatsoever from the staff and it’s already been over a week. I’m not one to rant over customer service, but this is deplorable.

My hype for the game is dying down.
Every day spent waiting is a day lost.
It’s time to look at some alternative entertainment.
