When to and not to consume exp cards

hey, sorry if its already posted here somewhere but for some reason i cant find what im looking for.

anyways, what should be the level range of me and the map/mobs before i hold off, or consume exp cards to not waste exp? i want to be in range of mob kill exp but at the same time i want to be a bit higher level than them so it would be an easier time levelling for me.

Its advisable to use it when you are stuck in a level where there are no good places to get decent exp. And the only option is a slow grind. So you could proceed to a better areas where experience is good

Ex lv 36 to 40, lv 78-80 and lvs 170 -175
