When IMC? When will you fix this?

alright, don’t think i could ever convince you.

also please don’t state something as if it’s a fact if you know nothing about it.

^this is one of the most disrespectful post i’ve seen in this forum and i didn’t even say that.

This thread isn’t about Julie leaving. Its about the FPS lags issue. None of us really care if they murder each other in their offices because of misunderstanding and failures they’re having. We’re customers and we deserve the right service. This issue is not just some client bug but a hardware related one.

And well, we cant convice each other. So as I said agree to disagree. You’ve given me 0 examples of how an employee that talks bad stuff publicly about their company or that blames the company for things publicly is any good to the company. I’ve acknowleged she was activa and definitely pestered the devs about issues the game had/community feedback, but that doesnt instantly mean she didnt do anything wrong.

They’ve already answered about the fps optimization on a past announcement. Doubt they’ll do it again till its fixed btw :P.

Lmao. Seem like someone know the real reason that Julie leave. Staff inside?

Then I strongly suggest that they give us an ETA for the fix and give it to us ASAP. We have been suffering these issues for more than a month. How much more are we going to wait? We will be paying for their game soon and I know its not mandatory to pay but we deserve the right service otherwise.

you see, the two things are connected. you want good service? a person who care about you having good service is gone. now she is replaced. and after she’s replaced correct me if i’m wrong but when is the last time you saw Staff interacting with forum except for posting announcement? exactly.

Btw if you can pm me whatever they implemented on GE that you fear they could implement here I’d appreciate it(or the hints u got from granado espada)

Also: I dont really expect them to give an ETA, since I think it’ll take them to rewrite all their code which could take some time. Giving ETAs isnt usually good since most of the times you take longer than what you expected and then community tries to kill you. At best, they’d give you a really long ETA so people stopped “bothering them”.

The hints I was talking about is they never really gave a flying fark about bots. All they cared was the profit. New cash items every week/month now the game is filled with wallet warriors. No money no honey there. I spend money on games but not that much but since other people like to spend heavily, people like me never stood a chance.

IMC in Granado Espada may be difference from IMC in Tree of Savior. It could either be better or worse. We expect results coz we like this game. We want fixes coz we like this game. We want balance coz we like this game coz if we never did, we wouldn’t be discussing this.

IMC don’t give a **** about the players
now leme see IMC pets defend them again like other post’s

after supporting this game from day 1 I’ve given up and decided to move on been 3 days that I can’t go in a dungeon and do my dailies… don’t let me get started about other issues

Don’t be shy. Everyone deserves to know specially those who are about to waste their time in this game.

She got fired for posting things without IMC’s permission What she did was unprofessional, but it was morally right. She told the customers (us) about the company’s (IMC) plans. She kept us in the loop. She private messaged people about things. She tried to work as an “ambassador” for us.

IMC doesn’t want that. They want a mindless puppet to regurgitate prepared statements. So out she went.

That’s why you don’t hear ■■■■ all about the game anymore. Julie was the only person who had the balls to tell us what was going on.

@STAFF_Max

I’ve seen a notification on my browser that you replied to this post yet you deleted it. As one of the players of your game, we deserve some information. These FPS lags have been here for awhile and needs to be fixed ASAP.

Why does IMC need to fix lag? People will quit and less people stay, this sever now is suitable for the future. It was efficiency move by IMC.

I’ve been observing this, since I’m a mmo gamer for a long long time… the trend that has risen lately, from around 2012ish and on, is such that way-back-when we used to have a subscription fee that should be able to provide all profit and re-investment needed into the game. Then they came up with this f2p cash shop business model and figured it was possible to profit way more, but for a shorter period of time. Given that the money would come from people who were willing to pay for the game, while the majority of players would be a transit crowd, who’d come and go. The only problem with the f2p model is that it tends to rely on a constant influx of new players, since the people who aren’t paying are likely to easily move to other games, thus requiring constant patches. Once it became clear that f2p is only viable for a short period of time (2-4 years, as opposed to UO’s 16 and WoW’s 13ish years), since the communities tend to collapse on itself. You do have games surviving quite well on this, hence LOTRO is quite old, but they cater to specific audiences, not the general public, right? which means they keep their target at the thousands of players, not the millions. the f2p model evolved into the early access model, whereas there is the promise of a game rather than a finished product and people willing to pay for a product before the product is handed to them (pre-order is a version of this, same as kickstarter campaigns). Now this model is particularly beneficial for smaller and starting independent companies but is terrible for the customer. It gives companies a chance to fund a game they might not be able to complete otherwise, but leaves the community with a short period of time when the game will be partially enjoyable, in the case of ToS, 1 month. why is that? because not only the game would be more polished before actual release (which happened a month ago, according to steam) but also fixing the game as is now is useless since the f2p opening causes more problems on top of the ones they already have and once the game will be in its ready state (as it should be before release) the community will no longer be there. Im not being pessimistic, Im being observant. this happened to GE, WildStar, ESO, to SWToR, etc… Given what happened to Ever quest Next and the amount of games currently on “early access” and “pre-order” states out there, the whole of the gaming business now seems to be about cashing out as fast as you can and moving on to create the next bait for players. we will get a period of terribly increased new player influx, and soon a lot of them will realise they even like the game but will move on into something else. Once the community finally settles, the number will be smaller than now though, and its ok. its expected. what some companies fail to realise though is that the players who are unhappy now, who suffered through early turmoil and leave before the game is actually a finished product is likely to never come back, while the newer players coming in may never invest as much of their time as the founders did. smart companies would care about that difference, but most companies only care about the math in the end.

Sadly that’s how it is today. They don’t give a flying ■■■■ about players enjoying their creation. They focus more on getting profit.

Guess we all will still be looking for a game that we can call a permanent home.

You know, depending how the game is programmed and which engine they’re using and so forth, a fix to your FPS issues may be impossible.

It’s likely not that they don’t care or that they haven’t looked into the issue, it’s much more like that either:

a) They have looked into it and discovered it is impossible to fix without recoding the game and/or engine from the ground up, which could take years and money they don’t have.

or, and probably the more likely,

b) They are looking into the issue and simply cannot decipher why people are having FPS issues.

or of course some sort of combination of the two.

Worth noting:

  • I do not have any FPS issues whatsoever except when my area map is opened and I lose or gain a buff, which tends to freeze the game for about 2-5 seconds. As frustrating as it is I can work around it.

  • This game actually pulls a lot of data from the drive that it is saved on, more than most MMOs. That being said, one of the most important pieces of hardware you could invest in for this game would be a solid state drive. For people interested, I would recommend a ‘Crucial MX200’ brand SSD, either 250 or 500gb.

Disclaimer:

I have no bias for or against IMC. I do enjoy the game and though I do not have FPS issues I think it sucks for those of you that do. I also realize most of you don’t want to spend $100-200 on an SSD that may or may not help with your performance issues. Please don’t hate me.

Most of the people are having FPS lags. 0.2 FPS during boss raids with just 20~40 people around @ low settings. People from Philippines mostly play in internet cafe. I play at home with just an average rig and I experienced that 0.2 FPS. I sometimes get crashes while changing maps and even just by opening world map.

My PC Specs :

Intel Core i5 2310 (LGA1155)
8gb RAM (1333 mhz)
Palit NVIDIA GTX650 DDR5 128 bit

Its just an average rig but I could play Mad Max / Blade And Soul / World of Tanks on high settings. Tried Battlefield 3 on ultra settings and played it smoothly as well. Crysis 2 never had issues either.

Yes sure we need to buy this we need to buy that. Not everyone upgrades their rig because they want to but because they don’t need to. Even people with jobs buy the highest they could get for their budget and be contented with it. I know just a little about computers and for me, if my PC can handle the games above without problems, why can’t it handle Tree of Savior?

The screenshot above is well you know what it is. Its been like that the 1st day I played Tree of Savior. They had their CBT testing phase and people say that this issue already existed there. They should’ve looked into it right away and fixed it before launching it to the public. But because of selfish acts, they launched it baiting wallet warriors from around the continent.

And yes sir you do sound bias. But I don’t hate you.
