When does guild Boruta regain HP?

Hello, My guild attempt Boruta this week.
The problem is we can only do around 14-15% a day, which mean we may not kill it in a week.
However, I read somewhere in patch note that

• Participating in Battle at Sulivinas Lair will reset Boruta’s HP saved from Guild Quest: Ancient One.
• If your Guild fails Battle at Sulivinas Lair and also is not eligible to participate in the following week’s Battle at Sulivinas Lair, the remaining Boruta HP will be saved.

Does that mean Ancient One won’t reset if we didn’t do GvG?
Or I’m just misinform.

if you do not get a spot on GTW it will not reset.
