For me, i’m in love with the wizard class. My main is going to be pyro>link3>alch2 and i want to have a pyro>link3>sorc2, cryo3(maybe 1 and link2)>chrono3, the golden child wiz3>ele3>wlock, and a cryo>link3>necro2 because i just need a skill named dirty pole xD i’m also considering if instead of ele i should make a wiz3>link3>chrono for the future but i might do both because i really want to experiance the ele skills x3

I’m also rolling a Arch>Rang3>Arch2(or rogue)>falconer>cannon, mainly because i want that damn falcon and refuse to pay ;D and would like to roll a preist for shepard when it comes out. I’d love to make a swordie mainly cause i love their spring flower dress x3 and cataphract is really cool but i’m holding out until they have some better mount choices. Corsair looks fun too though so i might roll 2 swordies, one for cataphract ending in dragoon and one with corsair2 and doppl or maybe corsaire3.

I’m currently a Cleric C2, Krivis C1 and 7 class levels away from paladin. While I’m not particularly high on the DPS end, I do enjoy how well I can support the group. My Safety Zone currently absorbs 20 hits, Dep Field can be kept on at all times. Divine Might keeping people’s skills up as well. I’m currently level 62 but well I would have a 200+ if I didn’t remake my characters constantly. I think I’m up to 12 remakes, not just of the cleric class lol. I’m thinking so far so good here? Or maybe I’ll get to 130+ and realize it’s sh*t and remake for a 13th time woohoo Tree of Salt.

Is this the only one you play atm? I was reading the topic about ET clear and it seems a krivisc3 was instramental in helping them clear, hopefully you will find you are happy with this build :smiley: I feel like a lot more classes are viable then people realize, i think there’s a lot of party play potential people aren’t aware of yet. Hopefully they release more content in the future that will give us more chances to see a multitude of classes shine. I’d also like this game to become more alt friendly with quicker leveling times, right now it takes a while to get anywhere. I’m hoping the long af time it takes atm is only so they can stall us for releasing new content xD
I have no idea when all my alts will come to fruition xD only lvl 80ish atm im absolutely in love with linker though :heart_eyes: i guess i’m lucky i enjoy a pretty meta class choice n_n;

I’m also not concerned with being the best. If I’m useful that’s all I care about.

I don’t make it a habit to hang out with people who take video games too seriously anyways and I hope end game for ToS has a mixture of no life toxic scrubs who need everything to be #1 meta or GTFO and people who are playing the game to have fun so that I can join the crowd there to have fun.

wuzzerd. I’m like the champion of making terrible builds that I enjoy playing. (incoming hunter2sapper2)

Wizard is just interesting and very versatile. I typically go for slashy swordpeople in mmos but ToS dragged me back to my wizard roots. I went Wiz2>Link2>RC>Chrono2 my first time through and I had a lot of fun. (though I did get/still get carried around a lot after I went like 130 levels solo accidentally by my friends since I’m honestly semi-useless without pass). They also have gorgeous outfits, like Chrono, Warlock, Thaum, etc. I’m making a Wiz3>Kino2>Alch>Warlock (or maybe alch again) next for that good wiz3 outfit. and also shinsekai yori homage.

Yeah I’m on Orsha. It’s not very social right now either but this game is so solo friendly that it’s just whatever I guess.

I theorycraft a crapton. Mainly with Clerics and Swordies.

Right now I’m doing something dumb and making a Hybrid Paladin. Cleric2>Diev>Paladin3>Kabbalist. I want to deal some damage, but I don’t want to sacrifice too much for it and still overall increase my parties DPS (That sounds like a Chap, but Chaps straight bore me.)

The reasoning behind it is simply that most Cleric Classes just plain scale better with INT. Paladin is in an awkward spot but does have great supportive abilities as well as tons of secret damage in it’s kit aside the Conversion+Smite combo alone. It has elements that help both sources of damage, so I build both STR and INT to test out how that rolls. CON is also fairly high because I commonly do have to get in monster’s faces and I rather not die off easily. So far though, people get very surprised by my damage output, and my heals keep everyone alive provided they actually run onto them. In missions without crit, I’m basically the bane of anything undead or demonic.

I also plan on making a Highlander Fencer (Obligatory Pelt due to Fencer) later on.

@FlanFlan well i prefer to just have fun xD i don’t have the time or energy to race to be the best in an mmo xD i just legitamately love grinding and this game has my prefered aesthetics and the music is just amazing. I’m on Orsha too, i’ll come help you level if you want x3 idk if you’ll get exp if i kill the mobs but if you don’t i can always link+hangmans knot for you. One of the reasons i love linker is the great potential to help others :smiley:

@Darumy for me at least i think the most important aspect of any build is enjoying playing it. No point in going meta if you hate every moment of gameplay xD plus we need people experimenting and sharing their experiances if we truely want to enjoy everything this game has to offer; and wizards do have the best outfits :smiley: eles outfit is amazing and one of the main reasons i want to go ele xD

@chillcross i salute you brave theory crafter (n_n)b good luck with your builds, they sound pretty cool. We need more brave people like you, i hope you continue to share any info you gather, i’d love to hear about more unusual builds.

Sure I might PM you my team name. My highest level is like 79 or something right now. I have a priest and peltasa and pyromancer but paladin was something I wanted to do ever since I looked at this game, it’s just everyone said paladin sucks…

So I decided to just do what I wanted to do and not care if people say it sucks =/

Sure send me a pm whenever :3 if you ever feel like creating more characters i’ll gladly help them level as well. One of my major endgame goals is to have lots of friends or a pve guild to help each other level alts and test out different character combos with. It’s hard to level alone but with a bunch of friends it will be much faster.

Sadly my internet went down when I was going to necro T^T but so far I love my build…

not the strongest or most useful, but I learned lot of stuff and cool trics with it :3

that been said… Stone Curse :pensive: just why do you even exist when sleep is already on this world…

as for the second I love krivis cause I can just cut early bosses like butter :3

it’s there cause I spend 99% of my time 100% alone xD and making a full support build would have been a pain to start up :blush:

second is just starting with cleric krivs, I was going to continue to cleric 2 when my first char reached lvl 200

I’m happy to see people trying out different builds and actually enjoying them x3 if you find any interesting synergys please do share them :smiley: it’s good to know krivis is good for early game and potentially an amazing choice for late game if you go c3 and have the right party comp.

Right now, Wizard tree is my favorite class tree.

I have a small pile of characters I’ve been playing from time to time.
wiz -> cryo 3 -> kino -> necro 2; my main, currently at necro 1.
sword -> highlander 3 -> corsair 2 -> fencer; currently highlander 2.
archer -> ranger 2 -> scout 3 -> cannoneer; currently scout 2 (just hitting the grind).
wiz -> pyro 2 -> thaum 3 -> featherbutt; only pyro 2 at the moment.
wiz -> cryo -> kino 3 -> alch 2; currently at kino 1, but on hold for now.
cleric -> krivis -> derby 3 -> ??? (oracle 2 maybe?); derby 1 is hell, so this character’s on hold.

If we get some kind of silly PTR or a major balance overhaul I would like to try wiz -> pyro 3 -> cryo 3. Especially if they add an interaction between the two types of walls. I also don’t see many sappers around so I’d want to try a sapper 3.

@qualna nice builds :smiley: how are you enjoying your necro? Do you enjoy the circle of kino you took? Pyro+cryo does look like it could be a lot of fun if only it was actually viable x3 I love elemental mages so i really wish pyro+cryo+ele worked together in some combination x3 maybe i will finally get something similar to that concept when sage is released.

I like musketeers too, machine gun build looks too fun. I love how archers get cannons and these crazy guns x3 and yeah archers are pretty op, poor swordies have been getting shafted hard. Despite all that i still want a Corsair so i can be a pirate :smiley: i tend to mess around with the build sim more then i actually play too x3 Only the Goddesses know when i will finally put all this theory crafting to use

I’m enjoying the necro, though it’s a bit expensive to maintain corpse since Gather kinda sucks and I’m trying to level some of the more expensive attributes at the same time. With the way I planned my Cryo skill points, Kino 1 was all I really needed so no qualms there (8 wall segments for making boxes).

I’m waiting for the day when IMC decides to attempt to normalize all base damage values and introduces meaningful scaling to skills so that they’re all at least semi-viable at all stages. Once that happens, it’s cryo 3 pyro 3 time.
