Dude it`s ok, there is a reason why I deleted my post you know? I miss read it because it’s kinda poorly worded.
Alright. I didn’t see that. The moment I made that reply, yours was still there. My apologies.
Though, what was poorly worded about it?
You made me sad your bringing back memorys of a time that made me truly happy
Yeah, sorry for the wording, English is not my native language.
I’ve made this review based on my research using ToSBase, forums, kToS players feedback and general opinion on current state of the game. I’ve been on these forums for more than a month already so I have some game knowledge, but I don’t claim that I understand the game better or so. It’s just my opinion and it’s open for the criticism and improvements.
I learn new things about the game everyday and I want to share it’s knowledge with others to help improving the game, because I really like this game mechanics and overall design and would like to see it evolving and growing.
If you disagree with some things, I would be glad to hear your opinion as well.
just this is a really good plus to my point thank you. I think simply adding more side questing and itens quests with field NPCs would be nice, would actually make exploring and doin your own thing a feature. (I remember especifically about this: http://ragdata.com/images/quest_chapeus/Chapeu_Chinas.gif )
and you are welcome for the pics I feel completly holeheartead when I searching for them that I even remember farming the last dungeon on third level with my thunder claymore looking for a 0.01% mid-hat drop that I thought it was nice
Its just a part of the game right now seems so focused on getting the experience instead of getting the atmosphere around you… I loved RO and everytime I had I new character those places would not get old.
same feelings here, RO was my first mmo experience, it was so big by that time!
I remember I didnt knew how to use the internet to look for stuff, so I would read a weekly magazine hee and once they gave a banner with a map, so that way I started exploring
Heavily nerfing classes so they become useless, restrictions on gameplay features, bots, goldseller spammers, hacks, and not enough endgame content. Those would be some of my main concerns.
would you guys saw the issue of optimizing the game and the lag, thankful since already imc games
Can you please tell me about nerfs that made classes useless?
Maybe I would help you to find some good uses for those classes, so you won’t be that disappointed about nerfs.
I agree with other concerns, though it’s only beta stage, so the game will improve with time, adding new content, fixing bugs and hopefully removing some unnecesary restrictions. Also VAC steam protection may help against bots and gold sellers.
@Staff_Julie Hey, Julie. I have a small concern regarding the release time date on steam and the release time date stated on the official post and in most of the countdowns for the release, since there happens to be a gap between both of about 3 hour difference. Steam User interface or game interface says it will be released some hours after if I remember correctly.
So… What’s going to be? Should I believe what it says on steam or are we sticking with the official release date?
PD: This can actually be a big concern for many, since they can’t even download the game if they didn’t pre-load on time before the changes on the steam platform.
EDIT: The steam release date suddenly matched the timer and official date X_x, so nvm this concern anymore.
Some of your opinions are solid, but some of them don’t really make sense.
I think swordies are quite lacking on PVP (not counting cataphract). They’re easily controlled and can’t really do anything about it. I won’t enter into every point of what you said though.
You’ve basically said every class needs buffs, but claimed too few nerfs. I actually feel some classes are REALLY overpowered, not only in terms of damage but also utility and synergy. Synergy is not bat in a game at all, but not all classes are able to be “synergic”, maybe because the way they were made, maybe because the rank they’re in.
The last thing I would like to point is something specific you said about pyromancer. Of course their damage will be lacking on late game. They’re an early damaging class and you couldn’t expect them to hit as hard as something that’s rank 7.
I don’t play ESO but the WvW map in GW2 is an absolute failure, so that’s a terrible example to use. The entire community hates the current state of it, since it is very unpopulated, due to the lack of objectives and rewards gained from it.
There was no PvE achievement in the PvP area, so I don’t know where that’s coming from. In fact, there’s almost really nothing to gain from the WvW aspect of it, and that’s why players left, since they could be farming gold in Silverwastes or earning decent rewards in standardized PvP.
I want open PvP zones, where people can compete for objectives. They won’t be necessary to participate in of course, but I think many people miss the thrill of old school MMOs, where you can feel the excitement of kill or be killed areas. Where you can meet someone and create a diplomacy, or you can fight it out if you disagree.
The best part is, it would open up a whole new world of builds. People no longer have a clear way to min-max their stats for PvE or PvP, and have to determine the exact mix of what they want. Parties wouldn’t require clear cut compositions, since you could accept builds that do not have great PvE capabilities, but can PvP to keep your party safe while it is farming or taking objectives. It would allow for people to actually put thought into their builds instead of following the standardized pure PvE builds that are so easy to min-max for.
You don’t seem to really understand that there could easily be a place where PvE and PvP meets. Where players of both sides could work together instead of being divided by what builds they followed. It’s fine and dandy if you want to avoid the PvP areas, but you don’t seem to have ever experienced a real mix of PvE and PvP so keep your mind open to these ideas.
Hi, everyone. Thank you all for your comments. I’m going to close this thread for the following reasons:
- The game release is tomorrow and newer concerns are going to flood in, and it would be favorable to see those separately under the Game Feedback or Suggestion category.
- This thread’s created an outrageous misunderstanding despite my intentions.
