Like, you think oh well it goes down the more you use it/get hit.
But I had tons of times when I just be standing in a town, and watch my gloves or boots go yellow or red just taking a step.

I agree, it is a mechanic in that game that is a high cost silver sink. A full wave of equipment repairs costs me over 10,000 silver and can get zapped down to red really fast on my warrior since it is my role to lure mobs.
It is cringeworthy when walking through a map and ranged monsters hit you with pop shots. Waste of durability.
Also fighting low level cheap monsters still effects durability even for 220 gear, so for example those daily events like mystery chest, better go weapon less or resist the urge to hit stuff along the way.
There already exists a beast of a silver sink, skill attributes and anvil upgrades, new formulas for durability lost mechanic should be internal tested. Hell, skill attributes and anvil upgrading should also be reworked into a more fun/creative, pro player mechanic.
There needs to be an add on or info box that shows the total amount of silver a character has spent on repairs. I also think imc should give the wiki page charts/graph/data on costs per attribute level of every skill in the game. This way players can know if this **** is worth it. How many hours of gameplay will it cost to throw it into these silver sinks?
durability is weird but it isn’t a problem, u can get 22k so easily (that what cost to me), if u have to repar every run ur doing it wrong (as a petalsta tanking all sh*t everytime I can repair every 10 duns/instance, even more if is just mission)
anywyas, this is one of a lot of things the game doesnt tell u how works, and can be annoying, like pets’s stamina, is stand in one place and run outs, as a cata, that sucks (u get bonus only if the pet has stamina) and the only way to regenerate is with food, there should be at least a pet npc in fedimian
WTF; standing around or slowly walking around costs duration?
Is the air and rain in TOS mixed with acid so people in that universe have to replace their clothes every day?
