Bannable my azz,
a player going afk while leaving a heavy object on the attack key has to be handled differently from regular bots. The classifier can deem the afk player innocent from looking at the honest play records, so afk players should not be reported using the report function

Change it to “holding Z while reading a book”
Actually, if you’re holding Z, you’re just multitasking. Not AFK. You still glance at it to make sure it’s not dead.

Sorry non-botting folks. the future is nearly here or is in fact here. it is easy to build a simple HARDWARE gadget with a few gears and mechanisms with finger-like hands or maybe just some sticks will do to push buttons. it will be able to timely repeat downward and upward motions. do this on my laptop while i work/play/watch on my desktop. anybody talks to me…i stop the gadget…and tell them to REPORT THEMSELVES FOR FALSELY REPORTING!

Z-key is kind of iffy. the one post that everyone seems to reference as definitively proving their point…

it is, unfortunately, vaguely worded, and no clarification appears to have been issued since.
It’s not the keyboard that’s the problem, it’s the people.
wish this were less true.
What we know for sure is that there is nothing in the rules that allows or forbids Z-Botting, and also that IMC never gave a statement regarding this issue besides the vaguely worded “Don’t report them because RII” thingy in the bot reporting system announcement.

Not sure why you think there is a difference. I’ve seen people say they were banned for that too.
As for the announcement, it clearly says not to use bot report function because it might work against your RII and they need to be handled differently. If it was OK they wouldn’t need to be handled at all right?
