Seems like it serves no other purpose except to punish players that don’t like being forced to taking a trip into town, let alone even get a notification in the first place about being lost on death. Best part is when the server completely lags out, get disconnected and you then see you’ve lost every single gem so far collected from level 1-40 quests.

I don’t like it either. Maybe it would be ok to lose the equiped gems or they get unequiped, but losing the gems from your inventory is a bit too much. I don’t even use them and put them into my storage because right now the chance of losing them is too high.
I’d rather of liked a warning on death then losing all of them I’ve collected so far because of a DC. Hell they couldn’t even add a transparent highlight of showing what items will be lost on death in the inventory itself rather then being forced to learn out the hard way.

And heck , the gems are rather worthless atm.
It’s nice to have on in your weapon suite to yoruself. But the others only give a small boost if even.
It’s just a 1 star gem.
I even sold most of mine off.
You can get these rather easily from doing bosses or trough grinding.
Doesn’t seem like that big of a deal to me.
At least you keep your money, at least you keep your experience, at least you keep every other item.
Losing gems which are a dime a dozen and with most becoming fodder to upgrade one particular gem? Yeah I don’t really care about em.
When you get your first gem from a dungeon mob, as always, a help window pops up which tells you that you’ll lose your gems on death inside a dungeon.
The help window can be accessed any time in-game from the help menu. So… you were warned.
How about not dying instead
The game is easy enough as it is.
I just lost one my lvl 4 gem… and I hate it. . . . I’m ok with gem being drop on death but not those which have been enhanced… also is there a plan of a stash feature? [or did i miss it and we have one I don’t know where it is?] coz there are items that I don’t wanna bring every time.
If you really don’t want to lose a gem then equip it or keep it in the Warehouse.

Nope, never got that help window, seeing as it never even pops up in the first place for anything else.
There’s a Warehouse Manager NPC on the second level of east Klaipeda that’ll let you store items for 20 silver each. It’s where I keep my Gems, Cards and spare equipments.
You really should talk to every NPC you can find. You get score for each different one you talk to and the Recorder NPC in Klaipeda will reward you with boxes of iCoins.
Must be either a bug, or you’ve somehow turned off the help messages. If you didn’t disable help messages, you should report it as a bug.
You should check the help menu to see if you have the help messages unlocked, since afaik they don’t appear on the list until you get a relevant help message when you find/do something new.
Just keep the gems in Warehouse duhh
Yeah just noticed when I remade a new character for archer that I actually got the help popups unlike my first run. Maybe it had something to deal with servers during launch when I rushed past everything.
