What's the most effective circle(s) at the end of the Pardoner shop?

After going Cleric>Priest3>Pardoner3>Cleric 2 (https://tos.neet.tv/skill-planner#41222aaa1.1a2a3155.1f3f5a.8f55) What’s the most effective single circle that you can fit in at rank 9?

Either something that gives you a decent scroll to make, something that will allow you to kill some content (for silver) so the character slot isn’t wasted, or something that will allow you to go circle 2 of “something” when we get rank 10.

And how about this, if I use the laptop that I have spare I could lose Cleric 2 from the end and have two circles free (at the cost of some extra effort setting up the shop) what TWO circles could be effective at the end, meaning you could have three circles of something with the release of rank 10.

I went Oracle 1 on mine. You will do little damage, but at least you have some additional support skills, along with 3 Simony skills: Arcane Energy, Clairvoyance, and Forecast.

This was made with the intention of not participating in most content.

Seems like a good idea, I already have it to the last circle (but not fully leveled) and have a reset scroll of course, having those three extra skills to scroll and send to my other characters / sell does seem nice.

Let’s see what other people come up with too though.

Taoist or taoist2 instead of cleric2, so you can do afk floors for ET (better than nothing)

Exorcist C1 is the best choice.
Oracle is only good for Arcane Energy scrolls and Forecast scrolls (I actually have a dedicated scrollmaker for this), but looking at how you’re probably not wanting to let the char rot away, Exorcist C1 is the best choice.

Once you’ve reached Rank 10 or Rank 11 on that char, you might want to rethink your choice, but given how hard it is to level up the char on its own from 330 onwards, I’d go with Exorcist for now.

i went with chaplain so i could do the quests that gave stat points to help boost spr

Lose Cleric 2 and go Chaplain - Inquisitor maybe? You get Aspergillum, Magnus Exorcismus, Breaking Wheel and Inquisitor’s fire attribute to help you farm mobs if you need it, although you’d have to spend some silvers to buy the wheels.

@GadenRhoss is Taoist fun and effective without Zaibas from Krivis?

@Asriel is Exorcist something we have right now or a Soon TM, i’ve been away for a bit but I have a timed reset parked on my Pardoner. Do you have other scrolls you make on the dedicated scroll maker or just the two? I think that maybe I Could let the character be a rot away character if that’s what’s best for it, the only reason I was considering combat is because before you’d take every high level character you had to get some blessed shards and things and some 330 dungeon money, I haven’t looked enough at the shake ups since I was gone to see if you even need extra characters to perform these daily chores.

@Birdseye I did the one quest from the ghost in the jungle that gave a SPR specifically, is there any more or just general 1 stat point statues like the one in the highest level hunting grounds where you might need to fight?

@vaporizer91 I have a few wheels back from when this guy used to be an inquisitor when that first came out, is chaplain/inq still in a great place?

Does anyone think two ranks of Bokor at the end could be the most powerful, just how much damage is full SPR and the damage bonus from rank 10 Zombify compared to just nuking with Taosist 2, Chap/Inq , or Cleric2/Exorcist ?

If it’s not going for the higher end content (which I guess it’s not because pardoner) then zombies would be an option since they wont be dying so often. On the other hand, if it really is just trash mobs then chaplain + inquisitor: burn is just way more powerful given how it just straight up multiplies your damage. Add to that you have the option to go “ignore def/mdef” with that and I would say it is the clear winner.

All of these ideas people have seem great, I think i’ll take one of the combat ones, and perhaps if I find I don’t log in to the character much down the road turn it into one of the scroll making designs when I get to 360 (I think i’m 342 at the moment and 330 dungeon levels me at a snails pace)

All I can definitively say is:
priest

  • mass heal (heal rework so watch out)
  • exo if you plan to use magnus (don’t)

inqui

  • don’t put anything other than wheel 1 (you really don’t need anything else)

Being pure SPR, nothing will really out damage your AA.

Very interesting! I’ll bookmark these for later and see if we have that exorcism master for the first step of the exorcist quest as I didn’t receive a answer about weather we have him or not it’ll be a quick check.

There that though. Chaplains have a “hidden combo” with exorcist. Can’t say how strong it will be when it hits us though.

You can afk all the defense floors look for videos on youtube, pardo is already useless in pve and you can still be useful in miki whilst having 0 investment on weapon, then you sell solmiki gear. Fits with a money maker character.

Tao1 is fine for afking the 2-3 defense floors on solmiki, if you know how to use it.
Exo seems to need other classes to stop his channel from being interrupted.
Inqui1 is a screen clear every minute with the wheel.
Oracle1 can make some more scrolls and the cleansing consumable with the name i cant remember

Exorcist will arrive in approximately 2 months, but you can easily reset you character now and just leave the last Rank open for Exorcist since it’s currently just a buff shop/Saalus slave.
There will also be ± 2 Rank Resets coming with that update, so unless you need them for other characters, you theoretically could reset your char into e.g. Chaplain now and later reset again into Exorcist.

I’d give it a thought about Exorcist (at least when it is released) because that Class is the strongest AoE-magic damage dealer in the Cleric tree, with the ability to carry your char through the next caps with the least effort on your side. And, if you don’t mind the extra work, go ahead for Exorcist C2to become even stronger.

Don’t forget that a dedicated buff shop needs to level up and to be able to quest for extra points since you need all SPR you can get for superior buffs. Taoist C1/2 can never be that effective for leveling/questing, the same goes for ± most possible additions.

I’m pretty sure that IMC changed these floors from collect energy to kill all monsters in the time limit provided in a patch already.
