The way the damage formula works is that physical attack almost exponentially affects your damage - since it’s first multiplied by your base damage, then factored into the enemy defense damage reduction calculations. STR is the main stat that increases your physical damage.
If you picked Swordsman 3, you have level 15 Gungho, which further increases your physical damage based on your STR stat.

clones dont get buffed from murm helmet now anyway
I dont have proof since my Murm dont have shinobi. If thats the case. Just the attributes damage will lose per clone. It would be good. Lancer, Dragoon, Murm, Dopple and Fencer will brawl against each other for top single DPS. All possible.

Ohh I see, anyway as I could see there are just few differences among this kind of builds like putting points in bash instead of pommel or taking points from cyclone to put in 1 or 2 other skills and so on.

Clones never got buffs from Cassis Crista. They never copied Murmillo’s attributes. It would be incredibly OP if they did.
Murminobi is not getting any weaker. If anything, it’s getting stronger, since clones will be able to copy Targe Smash, Langort and Butterfly now as well.
Langort and Butterfly are too costly though for Murmnobi. If you take pelt 3 means no hoplite 2. So I think the pelt buff only meant as an alternate build for standard hop2 rode 3 nobi Murm. No hoplite also means no spear and no 20% additional damage to medium monster. If Langort and Butterfly damage can justify the removal of hoplite 2 then it would be good alternative.
Mhh, I want to see Fencer-nobi vs Murm-nobi, cause they will both put 3 lv8 red gems into their dagger/shield, that will pair them up with Doppel’s patk, but Fencer copy able skills are much better than the doppel ones, specially Flash, and Fencer has its own pierce and slash debuff.
But do not forget that all shield attacks, basically the essence of Murm-nobi will have 30% of their shield pdef as patk added for most of their skills and 100% in the case of Synchro Thrusting, Shooting Star and Butterfly. A +11 Stage 10 Primus Shield is giving around 2500± pdef FYI.

Hello, I’m returning to ToS after a while and almost everything is new to me. I reseted my doppel and can’t decide on what build to follow.
Can someone compare the barbarian build with the sw3h2dp3sh1?
I also want to understand the synergy bettwen sw3 and doppel and why everyone is picking it
Also, is DoV still usefull on this barbarian build?

Sword c3 barb c3 doppel c3, is a build used for get a strong physycal atack buffs(gung ho, warcry, frenzy), its a cheap build, and yeah dov still usefull.

My questions about DoV come from these affirmations. So I want to understand why/when I would need for DoV and why/when I wouldn’t
Many people are picking Swordman 3 right now because Double Slash can be copied by shinobi clones.
Barbarian c3 is decent but it can’t compete with the dmg output Moulinet or Double Slash + clones give. Barbarian c3 doppel is not so great atm because it leaves you with very little options for rank 9. Taking swordman 3 at rank 9 is a really big waste tbh. Taking shinobi with barb c3 is also a waste cause you’d have basically no skills for clones to copy.
The builds might change a little once shinobi is able to copy more skills. When Seism becomes clone-able, barb 3 might become much more popular than what it is atm.
You want to max DoV in any Doppel build you make. Not only the skill point investment is better in DoV than in normal doppel skills, it also helps with skills aside from Doppel’s arsenal, such as highlander / barb skills.

It will be for sure since it’s in the patch notes together with wizard rework.
However it might take a few months before that patch hits us in iToS. Until then, you might be getting skill resets from other class reworks / events, so I wouldn’t worry too much about making a build focused on those patch notes (unless you don’t intend to play that character for a long while).
I remember on the first rank reset event I made a taoist, looking forward to the patch that would greatly reduce talismans costs and I had to wait a month and a half until that patch was finally implemented in iToS. I basically didn’t play my taoist for that period since casting skills was so damn expensive.
I’m rank 6 yet 
I think I have some time until get rank 9, if leveling take that long
