Whats the current Lv Cap and other things

I have a question.
Whats the current Base Lv Cap?
if youve already chosen Quarrel Shooter for example and then Hunter…can you later go back and chose Ranger as Job too at same char?
How many jobs can you get until max lv cap?
What advises can you over for Archer build? (i am a fan of the pistol using class)
Currently full Dex build around 90 dex already.

And what advise for reaching a Paladin?
What classes and circles?

Current cap is 280 i believe.

Yes you can choose earlier classes at later ranks.

There are 7 ranks that you can choose classes or go higher in a single class. Including your starting class. There are no rank resets though.

Can’t help you with the build advice.

Cap is indeed 280.

You can pick any class/circle as long as you’re AT LEAST the rank of that class. You can even go back and pick up other circles later. You could, for instance go Swordsman circle 1, Highlander circle 1, swordsman circle 2 in that order. This will, naturally, be 3 out of your 7 choices though, so choose wisely.

7, essentially. You’ll probably want more than one ‘circle’ in at least one of those classes though. You get 7 circles to play with. That could be 2 classes you get to circle 3 and one you get to circle one, or you could get 7 classes to circle 1, but that’s probably not a good idea.

Use the archer and cleric forums for build advice. There are tons of threads about it already.

I REALLY recommend you check out what classes you want to build.

I ruined my swordsman and had to delete it at level 126. If you pick wrong no one invites you to groups as you can’t level.

what did you pick that was so bad you had to remake it?
@Solkazo

I went swordsman C2 then Hoplite. You can’t go swordsman C2 else you wont get a group and trash.

You certainly can go Swordsman C2 if you’re DPS focused. Peltasta is really only there if you want some sort of tanking in your build.

Ueah swordsman c2 is fine, restrain is good. Don’t let other people force you to change your build.
@Solkazo

You don’t go swordsman c2 if you’re “DPS focused”, you go highlander. Swordsman c2 is for pvp because of restraint. It sucks otherwise.

Copying from a post I made on reddit about Paladin builds. But also the search function is your friend.

Okay. I’m actually rolling a Paladin right now and there are basically three builds.
Build A: STR/DEX focused

Build B: SPR focused

Build C: STR/DEX focused or SPR focused

First off, you wanna take Paladin to C3 if you grab it. Barrier is pretty much THE reason to grab Paladin. Second off, Paladin is a PvE class first. Currently barrier doesn’t stop enemy players from walking into it. If that gets fixed it might be strong, idk. It also might be good in GvG, but no one really knows what the meta for that’s gonna look like.
Onto the builds. Build A is probably the most popular one. You get C2 for better support abilities. Diev is for the 20% CD reduction and Carve. Carve is one of the best scaling abilities in the game that clerics can get, with 5 hits per use x 3 overload. It deals the most damage out of the builds, while also bringing some utility to the party.
Build B is the one I’m using. It has the most party utility. Its damage is kind of confusing, but it keeps up for the most part. The basic ideas is that Zalciai, Deprotected Zone, Turn Undead, Barrier, and Increase Magic Defense all scale with SPR. You debuff your enemies with reduced defense and crit resist, buff your allies with obscene amounts of Mag Res and Crit. On top of that, Smite is a non-multi hit skill with a low cd, moderately high SP cost, and pretty solid base damage. I do believe this build has the most viable, although niche, use in PvP as a way to nullify magic damage. Plus you get to craft Barrier scrolls, which sell decently and also you can give your guildmates.
Build C is a priest build. Some people go it because it’s kind of obvious, but it’s only not that great. Mass Heal is generally worse than Heal (especially at Priest C2), the AA buffs all fall off by late game, you don’t get Stoneskin, etc. Basically, if you’re going Priest, you should go Priest c3.

ah no no no.
I misstook Paladin with the class for swordsman who can create guilds

The game is new and the level cap is 280??
Did ToS just increase it everytime or has it been 280 from the start.

Wow, Im already having a difficult time at 118

do not ever delete your character, you are not supposed to be controlled by others in that aspect also you don’t really need party since dungeon can auto match, just do what you want.
