Will we have another closed beta test (CBT3) or will it go into OBT?
If it does go into OBT will character data still be wiped before the official release?

we dont know if we’ll get a cbt3 or go straight to obt at this point.
yes, characters will be wiped, characters created during OBT will most likely not be wiped, since OBT has more or less become “release” over the years.
I would say more likely to be wiped, with a small possibility of them not being wiped. This is a real beta not a steam early access.
Just gonna assume that OBT is a few months away and that OBT will not be wiped due to that it will be accessible by everyone as opposed to CBT where it only accessible to those who have been given access. This is typiically the way mmos are run from my experience.
We’ll see, i cant remember the last last time i played a game that wiped open beta
