This quest is the most horrible designed quest in the game. This quest is simply impossible as a melee character.
Please change it.
i wouldnt say its impossible with melee’s i breezed through it with my dragoon (was a corsair at that time)
I tried about 15 times, can’t complete it alone.
Completed as Hoplite. Just run to the left when the smoke exit, it will not follow you very quickly. Mureder the mobs meanwhile
I skip this quest. I don’t know how to complete this, I tried to wait for someone to help but this map is like a ghost town map.
Will try your suggestion “run to the left when smoke exit” i don’t know what exit you mean, but will figure it out.
I just done it… it was awful to figure out with a melee… but the thing is… monsters don’t frost you… there is a fog you need to avoid… is very easy actually is a very slow fog… just avoid it… the tip is… run all to the left hit monsters and if you need to go to the rigth look for the fog and don’t step it

Dropping the quest. I dont see the fog, probably some bug.
Ghostghostghost is correct, this quest bugs heavily.
Sometimes the quest area boundaries bug.
Sometimes the effect for the fog bugs.
Sometimes the fog travels slowly as it should while at other times it bugs and travels VERY fast.
Leave the map and come back to it, this may solve your problem with it. I came back to it 50+levels later and it travelled extremely slowly compared to before making the quest perfectly easy.
