I believe it upgrades the bonus effect of equipping a set of those type of equipment. For example, if you enhance plate mastery to level 2, if you wear 4 types of plate equipment, it gives you more bonus def than just plate mastery level 1.
The bonus is … low.
And i think it doesnt even work as descriped. xD
Dont take too much of these at the start.
You gain HP and Stamina according to the attribute level when using the correct picies.
Is plate mastery even working right now? I have it at level 8 and I don’t see a bonus increase to my defense at all and very little increase to hp while having 4 plate type armors equipped o.o, can you use any kind of plate armor to get the effect? Or does it have to be certain sets of plate armors?
Plate masterey don’t add Defense, it adds HP (3 parts) and Stamina (4 parts, require higher level mastery). The ammount is very low and is noticeable only with higher level mastery.
