gvg can mean something quite different from War of Emperium. what makes woe so nice is the openness of the gvg enviornment. In woe, the goal of each guild is to claim territory in the form of castles, a very broad objective. From such a free space, the game provides a greater variety of possible scenarios, 2 guilds raid 1 castle, 2 guilds work together to defend 1 castle, 1 guild takes multiple castles. This is different from a subjective scenario where one guild is pit against another guild in a 5v5 bloodbath. pvp already adequately simulates such a frenzy
IMC can pretty much make something similar, but that dont mean you have to call it WoE since it mean War of Emperium, and theres no Emperium in ToS.
I’m surprised nobody mentioned about the HATS / HEADGEARS crafting, or am I the only one that is hoping for them.
Well first of all i expect strong social and guild aspect from the game. Like it was in the Ragnarok Online once before renewal. After that - strong enemies in gvg/pvp aspects of the game. Who wants to dominate monsters for many years? What can motivate u to stay in the game for about 8 years? Only stron enemies. Like Nabz (if u know what i mean - Hello there :D) for Thor’s Anger guild. No matter what resources it would take to achieve the victory - if enemies worth it, ppl will do all they can for it. So i expect many interesting ppl in this game, so i can stay and fight em for another 8 years
Who played in the first beta like me and others here, know about them and we do the quests/boss fights to find them too.
I expect something not related to grinding only to win.
Balance between class WITHOUT any 1-HIT KILL ( this is the most stupid features ever in all game )
Ragnarok was killed by it ( asura, then goh, then tetra vortex )
Dragon Nest was killed by it ( Swamp , Laser cutting ex+time stop, etc…)
The best game atm is 14 League by far in term of balance and skill request. You still can have OP weapon but been killed by 2 hits or overkilled by 1.1 hit make everything fair.
For that the game should give grinding content with challenging boss or impersonated boss for addicted player and it should give challenging content for casual player ( like pvp, gvg, race, hunting, tag, wanted, flag soccer game )
Using a spear or 2 handes spear from level 1.
I looked forward in an online game that I can farm/play/enjoy at my own pace and to truly enjoy the atmosphere of a free and immersive online game world.
Been watching/reading way too many anime/manga bout a really deep and long term online world, and truly hope that this will be one that I can experience such experience (though it is a really big wish/hope). Looking forward in seeing you guys in the game =D
