Hi there,

some ideas:

  • Will we see redesigns of things that are useless by design? If yes, when?
    e.g.:

Solmiki-Cloth-Set-bonuses (4 part, 6 parts, especially 7 parts)

Warlock 2 skills

Warlock attribute that increases the dark-property-attack of items but NOT of the dark-type skills of a warlock

  • Will we see any PvE-balances (aside from agny)?
    e.g.:

Ausrine-invincible buff

ausrine-Krivis-linker-combo --> whole party gets invincible

Plague Doctor 2 --> one of the best damage dealers

  • Any balance-adjustments for PvP (including GvG)?
    [Im not interested in PvP but many players are…]
    e.g.:

ausrine invincible effects

revenge sevenfold

cloaking

some sort of general damage reduction in PvP?

  • Will we get a system that frees us from doin XX-saalus runs (and dungeon-runs) etc per day with every higher-lvl chara? It simply is extremely time-consuming.

suggestion:
The system applies for (normal/old, NOT uphill) Saalus and Dungeons.
A player can “use” every 1st saalus-run of every of his charas that could do saalus. If he enters or queues for saalus a 2nd time this can be done again using the 2nd saalus-run of every of his charas that could do saalus. (The same goes for dungeons.)

He/She will ONLY get the cubes (saalus-cubes or in case of a dungeon: dungeon-boss-cubes) for every chara, e.g. the other charas will not get any silver etc. if their saalus-runs or dungeon-runs are used like that. The other charas wont get any EXP as well.
The chara that does the runs himself/herself will - however - get drops, silver and exp as usual.

  • when will we get changes that JTOS gets from Nexon but we still dont have, e.g.: damage-formular
- Bug fixes & fixes for DCs & performance in general (lags caused by some people or monsters being on the same channel)
(one of the more new things is that some people are crashing when they try to open the friend list... aside from that: skills that dont work)

Transcendence. Most importantly will new content (r9) be balanced with it?

So new characters without at least stage 3-4 transcendence will be locked out of new content if it is balanced to transcendence?

If it isn’t balanced with transcendence in mind, will it be too easy for veterans with high transcendence so much as they steamroll thru all of the new content?

Power creeping is inevitable in this genre of game. They only differ in execution and in form. There is nothing wrong with R9 being balanced around transcendence heck the developers probably thought the power creeping in monsters were too strong hence they released the transcendence. If they didnt do that where can we get high damage so we can survive the new contents? Release much stronger weapons? Like 3k-4k base power? In order to get that kind of weapon, I cant imagine how much trouble we have to go through to get it, it would be much worst than the current orange 315 weapons. Or you probably thought the developers shouldnt make the monsters too strong so everyone can clear them using their lvl 170 equips? If they do that why do we need to get new equips in order to clear the new contents? Most people will get bored too fast and ask for more because the efforts you need to exercise to clear the rank R8 is just too easy or easy/normal

Imagine if there was no power creep in R8, we will have stagnant contents where everybody can clear this or that in PVE.

Transcendence also helps obsolete weapons to be viable in the future patches. If some people dont want to farm the new weapons, they have the alternative to just transcend them and all you have to do is farm silver which comes in many form in TOS then buy the shards.

lvl 4 transcendence in lvl 170 wepaon is so easy to get( i only used lvl 1 trans in farming rank 8 mats), if someone play enough they can get it in no time. And in my experience thats more than enough to clear the rank 8 contents. Solmiki on the otherhand is for hardcore players with 3k-4k playtime so its only natural to get transcendence 6 or more to clear them up.

Actually transcendence wasn’t that bad when they first release it. Untradable blessed shards ensure that power creep doesn’t go out of hand.

Don’t really know which dev suggested that blessed shards should be made tradable. So we end up with what we have now, rampant power boosts brought forth with transcendence and in the end R8 content have to be balanced to those using transcendence in mind if not content will be stagnant.

Weapons can be upgraded using a different mechanic which is already in place in the game, like

Grand Cross -> Didel Grand Cross -> Marvel Grand Cross -> Ancient Grand Cross* -> Primal Ancient Grand Cross*

  • Those with stars are placeholders for R9-R10

It is a neat way to upgrade existing stuff while making the same weapon type available as the players level up.

Why do we need to follow Nicola’s End Game guide to play the game in its current status?
Why do we need to have AFK necros armies in order to compete?

But most importantly,
Why aren’t there any pantsu costumes in the TP store yet?
Where is Audra Staff’s rod form for R8 content? Stupid archers get more weaponX grand cross, but wiz gear is limited to just a rod/staff with massive stat buffs. Archer gears need nerf.

Tradable shards were probably to address the outcry of new players who cant catch up with veterans. They were locked in 2 shards per day or 6 if rerolled. Closing the gap vs veterans will be impossible if shards are untradable. If RMT is concerned against tradable shards i think even without trascendence we can still see them here and there, there is no stopping them to get the best equips. Unless we dont have trading system which i think majority dont like. Even with that, they will just buy the account if trading is impossible.

If IMC suddenly changed or removed the transcendence they have to remove the 80% defense and magic defense patches ago too or else we wont be able to damage them anymore in PVP. They also need to tone down the PVE contents to balanced around weaker weapon damage. Refunding those who exerted the effort should also be included, those people probably dont want their efforts to go to waste if the change doesnt compensate the effort they exerted or else they will spam the forums of getting IMCed.

I seriously dont have a beef anymore in transcendence the moment they included the 80% defense boost in ranks before. The methods only differ compared to other MMO but the efforts we need to exert to clear the contents are still the same compared to others.

I would want them instead to produce another way of acquiring the damage. Pretty sure that method can co-exist with transcendence without removing the another one. Like if you go transcendence you cant do the other method or vise versa.

This is actually a good idea of solving the transcendence problem. The main beef which I have with transcendence is how it makes the game very all-for-one where players need to create mules just to farm more blessed shards in order to compete. These mules in turn become deprived of the chance to getting good as most of their shards and also practonium, is given to the main.

Come new contents where the damage and mitigation is pegged to transcendence, new characters/alts totally wouldn’t stand a chance at all, since they all have to stop at R8, get alts for these alts just to be able to progress.

Half of my personal issues with transcendence would be solved if they allowed transcended items to be server storaged. I’d be willing to compromise something like trans 5 and lower is allowed to be stored and trans 6 and up to be locked. I just don’t want to transcend my max peta and farm it again on my alt :rolling_eyes:

I can agree in pve but in PvP ? Did you see how Much power Inquisitor have in PvP ? If they nerf PD (which is cool if they nerf dps but not support power or the class) , they nerf Inqui too and further more because while PD need int build and high transcended weapon to deal nice dmg, Inqui naked and full con can OS anyone.

the statement about PD was clearly made in the context of PvE.
I didnt say anythin about PD in terms of PvP.

As for attack-power: It clearly is an extreme design-flaw if clerics (who have Heal and Safezone and higher cleric ranks with Ausrine etc.) get such strong attack skills like PD2 and Inquisitor and a hidden class like Miko while the “normal” magical offensive class (wizard) gets only crap on rank8 in terms of damage.
enchanter: support only
sage: support only
warlock 2 skills: completely useless
etc.


addion to suggested topics:

  • mouse control still doesnt work, espc. the targeting in mouse mode (with any class) is just horrible

  • fix the server or whatever is the problem:
    Fedimian server has “Server Capacity Bug” yet again
    (though the problem might be somethin else as you can get in via queue without problems)

Enchanter sucks even for support, literally only useful for mdef shop and reversi & link scrolls.

Why the developers have to hide behind staff/interviews not coming out like real people and being honest.
