What will happen on F2P date?

Hi!
I purchased this game’s early acces, and was wondering what will happen when it goes FTP. I still haven’t claimed my premium goods in fear of any change during the current f2p date (May 10 right?)

To be honest, I’m sure my answers are somewhere in the TOS news section, but I just find it confusing, and don’t have much time to be reading so much.

These are my main concerns for the free to play date:

  • Will there be new servers in order to acomodate new ammount of players?
  • What’s all the fuss with server changing? Have server changes finished? Why are these offered? Do they have anything to do with new servers being applied, and if so, is this an opportunity for moving to newer servers?

I’m mainly asking this in order to know what to do with my premium goods, because I might just claim them now and stay on my current server.

Please keep in mind I am asking these questions, as I don’t have as much time to read information as many, but I’m still finding the time to play and ask people who know all about the details

In any case, thanks! And if I have not made myself clear enough, just ask.

May

Also my guess is it will be pushed back again, they still haven’t even managed to fix the server stability issues. They are far from ready.

Ah yes, May xD I corrected that

Alright, I’m going off of a very vague memory of an announcement I read, so don’t quote me on any of this HAHA

(this was before all the delay and regional transfer issues btw)

From what I understand, more servers will open up for f2p players some time after the f2p launch, as in, they won’t open immediately. This is most likely to intergrate the f2p crowd with the founders crowd

Server changes are happening because people demanded regional servers, i.e. SEA servers, South American servers, etc. Changes are still sort of in progress? The regional transfers should be done, I don’t know if they’ll continue to transfer stragglers/aussies and whatnot.

As for server changes unrelated to region, I believe that they said they were going to do transfers after launch for like a week. Wait, let me backtrack and try to find the announcement, I feel like I’m totally wrong HAHA

Hmh ok, I remember something about new servers coming along too…

Anyway, what’s definite is that if I claim my premium goods, I won’t be capable of moving them to another server later right?

HERE WE ARE.

As we have previously announced, we are planning on creating new worlds if there is a sufficient influx of new players when the game releases to the mass public.

However, we will not be creating new worlds immediately upon release. We are planning on opening them gradually in accordance to the influx of new players.

We are aware that the number of players per world is extremely important to an MMORPG and do not want the population divided. Players on the Founder’s servers may feel like they are being penalized if the new worlds are immediately opened and all the new players go to those servers.

We will be offering 1-time Team transfers to those who purchased Founder’s Server : Exclusive Access.
Only 1 Team transfer per Steam account will be allowed regardless of the number of products purchased.

We will be taking requests from those who would like to make a Team transfer once new worlds open. The transfers will happen approximately 3 weeks after the new worlds are created in order to ensure that some of the head-start effects brought by older players are reduced. Link: x

As the transfer mentioned is geared towards founders, the items shooould move with your character. I don’t know why they’d let founders have a transfer if that’s not the case, but shrugs. Especially since, minus the hats, the premiums are untradeable so they shouldn’t affect the ingame market.

I have a friend who told me his items got stuck on another server during the first transfer. (That’s what I was told)

Oh gross, that’s probably the case then. I think I’ve skimmed over some posts where they had to leave some silver behind too, unsure.

If it helps, the premium items are just a nice bonus. I played until maybe 120ish without redeeming them. The only thing is if you want to level faster, the token is nice from level 50ish so you can enter dungeons three times within a day.

The token really is the only thing worth a damn. Unless you got the big pack the reset potions are nice to have.
