What to do at High Levels? / How to get Stronger?

End Game content at high levels tend to be a confusing or mysterious topic for new and returning players. Like most MMOs, Tree of savior is similar in the aspect of making your characters grow stronger.

This post will be a summary of the things you can do to make your characters stronger as you approach High Levels.

Saalus Convent

A special daily dungeon content that gives blessed shards when completed, you are able to do it once per day per character. The first 3 characters per day will receive 3 blessed shards while any additional characters will only obtain 1 blessed shard per run.
Blessed shards are incredibly important as they can be made into an item called Blessed Gems. The Blessed Gems are required in a process called Transcendence which can boost the basic values of your equipment by a large amount, this is extremely important in making your characters do the most possible damage they can and survive the longest they can.
Each Saalus run will also net around 100k-150k which is quite nice since the runs are fast to do.

Daily Dungeons

The normal Daily Dungeons are a great way to level up if your characters are not already lvl 360. The dungeons will reward you with Silver, Experience and an amount of cubes which correspond with the completion rate of the dungeon when completed.

The Daily Dungeons will not give you silver or experience anymore once you are lvl 360, however they still drop the reward cubes which can give you Talt, Cards, or other special materials and items which might be useful.

Talts can be used to upgrade Guild levels or sold to an NPC for 5k each, it is usually better to sell it on the market for 6k+ or use it to upgrade guild levels. Talt is also a great form of bartering tool as some people accept it as a form of pseudo-currency when trading.

Challenge Mode

Challenge mode is a special feature that can be done to farm Silver, Items and Experience. It is recommended to tackle Challenge Modes as a party and you can access it by killing mobs on a field until a purple flashing monster spawns, if you kill the purple flashing monster, a portal to the challenge mode for that area appears. You can do Challenge modes once per day per character.

Inside the Challenge Mode, an empty bar will appear at the bottom of the screen. Monsters will continuously spawn and killing the monsters will fill the bar up. Once the bar is filled, a boss will spawn and killing it would finish that specific stage. You can choose to end the stage there and receive rewards or attempt a higher stage. Higher stages will spawn stronger monsters in greater quantities and will be harder, however the rewards are greater too since you get more loot chance with every stage.

Usually, Challenge Mode up to stage 5 is relatively easy while stage 6 and 7 are quite hard and require geared members or specific class builds.

Generally you obtain around 400k pure silver per stage 5 CM run and also any extra equipment and reward cubes. The Reward cubes have a chance to drop raid portal stone recipes which can make raid portal stones. These Stones are important to access the Unique Raid Dungeon which can drop the recipes for very strong end-game equipment.

Unique Raid

Unique Raids are special dungeons which can be accessed from Nobreer Forest or Zima Suecourt, you need Raid Portal Stones to access this dungeon and this dungeon drops very special recipes which are incredibly useful for end-game gearing. Most of the recipes can sell for multiple millions of silver on the market depending on your server. It is recommended to do this dungeon with a party that has at least 1 cleric and 1 good DPS.

Mercenary Daily Quests

If you are wanting to do some field farming, it is also good to head to Receptionist Donnes and do the daily mercenary quests while you are field farming. You are able to do them twice per character per day and you either obtain attribute point vouchers on weekends or around 144k silver in weekdays when completing the quest(close to 300k per day per char).

Solmiki Tower/Velcoffer Raid

These are special end-game raid dungeons which are difficult. Challenging them is required in order to get the absolute best equipment in the game. You can run these raid dungeons twice per week per character. You will need to run them with a party and it is recommended to be semi-geared beforehand to be able to clear the raids.

Free Field Farming

When your character is over lvl 350, you will start to worry about where to obtain silver. Field Farming is a great way to farm silver without any restrictions. Maps that have monsters which drop special materials for Unique Raid Recipes are extremely good to farm in. This is because you can obtain pure silver as well as those materials which can be sold on the market for extra profit!

Hunting Grounds

Hunting Grounds are specialized areas to farm at, all the monsters at Hunting Grounds have a chance to drop special materials such as Mithrils and Opals. The level 350 Hunting Grounds area is Nazarene Tower.
Keep in mind that hunting here will tend to be difficult, the monsters will have a relatively higher hp here than on fields. It is recommended to at least be semi-geared before attempting to wholeheartedly farm here(at least +8 enhanced weapon with stage 4 transcendence).

Gem Enhancing

When farming areas or hunting mobs, sometimes Colored Gems will drop. These gems are important to socket into your equipment after they have been Gem Roasted by an Alchemist Shop to negate any negative effects. You will need to fuse gems into each other to level them up and make them stronger. Generally Level 5 Gems tend to be cheap and good to use for budget gear. You will want to aim for lvl 7-9 gems to socket into your end game equipment.

Collection Farming and Title Hunting

Doing the Collection boxes and collecting Titles will reward you with extra stats, Players who enjoy maxing out their characters will tend to do as much of this as possible to give them an edge over others as well as scratch that completionist feel.

Hidden quests and Zenmya Statues

There are certain Hidden quests that reward you with Stat boosts when completed, doing these quests usually take a bit of time but the extra stats are nice to have. There are also benefits to visiting and praying at every single Zenmya Statue possible, this is because each Zenmya Statue you pray at, rewards you with an additional stat point that you can spend at your leisure.

Event participation

To get the maximum possible profit without much time investment, I’d suggest participating in events that give free attribute point vouchers, blessed shards/gems, weapon recipes, diamond anvils or other things you can utilize to improve both your attributes and base equipment.

Soloing content

Even if this sounds pretty stupid since it requires a lot of time and makes you lose potential EXP gain in case of dungeons, nothing helps more than understanding the weaknesses and strengths of your character.
It also helps to drop the “no need to dodge manually”-mentality that I see in exertion nearly every day.

Actively dodging monsters attacks not only saves on HP potions, it also reduces the effect of wearing down your armor (which requires a lot of repair fees later on with level 315+ equipment).

Non-Clerics who don’t have Heal are expected to dodge as many attacks as possible(at least in Velcoffer Nest and for Demon Lord Hunting), so it’s better to start learning as early as possible.

Veteran-tip: Using a Forecast scroll helps a lot with getting used to attacks/attack patterns, especially on bosses.

Card Albums

Another way to become stronger is to farm specific cards via card albums.
Depending on your server and market, they can be bough relatively cheap (around 100k per album);
You can also get them while farming at Hunting Grounds (~2-3 per half an hour of farming averaged with a decent kill-&spawn rate) or from fishing in Cobalt Forest/Klaipeda (really rare, though, the soaked card album will summon one random boss from any colour of album[except black]).

The main focus should be getting good green cards and blue cards asap;
Red Cards are useful for dealing more damage, but unless you have a lot of funds for your weapon, the up to 30% more attack/30% more damage isn’t giving you much of an edge.

If you pool your albums together with other players with up to 5 parties, you can maximize the benefit of opening the albums.

I’d rather say, this only applies to players with a Rank 8 Class rounding up their builds.
I don’t think this will be enough for Rank 6/7 Classes even after the transcendence patch next week to kill the monsters in a time-frame that is small enough to be superior to field farming (considering the monsters in the Level 340 Hunting Ground Nazarene Tower all have more damage reduction and at least 3 times the HP of level 340 field monsters).
A better estimate would be +11 and T7.

What happened with the Former Fantasy Library?

In fact, doing a dun 300 run with a lvl 360 char will give you 88k silver per run.

Became obsolete due to the crappy reward at the end.

Lately I found myself doing the quests and collections to pass time lol

A legit way to pass time

For the collections, good luck getting all the red/blue orbs and 0.01% drop items

Yeah i realized wtf some of the collection items have very low drop rates on like 1-2 mobs? Example: Firent skin. Too impossible
