Tree of Savior Forum

What the hell happen with the forum!?

If that is what you mean by players do care, then yes, I agree.

What I meant was that players would not care (mind) it enough to say: “hey it’s still in beta, I don’t wanna play beta cuz it’s full of bugs, I’ll wait for release”.

Care is just such a loose word. Easy to cause miscommunication lol.

Youre clearly mistaken. You cant push your opinion on something thats already set in stone.

I’m not mistaken by any means. By definition, beta and release are very different. Just because a lot of games stay in beta doesn’t mean they meet the quality and expectations of a release. There is no way I am wrong. I am, by definition, right. Release and beta are different. I’m not pushing an opinion, I am apparently educating here.

I read the thread but I can’t understand the context in which jynxie10 and skygrinder was arguing about.

So speaking from a general context, Rubiss is right that OBT is different from release.

Although up to debate is how much different they are. And this debate would be a matter of perspective and opinion (hairy).

some of us ( i myself am guilty ) enjoy arguing with people on this forum. i have no problem with the decisions made regarding the founder pack but i myself scorging the forum looking for people to get into an argument with.

i dont know why i enjoy this so much.

because its awsome for other people to read~

Open beta is just a tag, just a name, formality sake, you can even call it soft release, but it is already released . All the serious stuffs were done in CBT, OBT is marketable and is ready(Devs point of view).Your opinion is, you want the playerbase to think like you, to think there is more to its name(Like a Dev). where in fact it is set in stone that majority dont care about formality. They only care about “Is there a wipe?, It is stable?” So your education is invalid.

Skygrinder and I were talking about whether IMC should instead swallow all the playerbase in 1 scoop or not. For stability purposes, IMC decided to not to. Then Rubiss feeling smart decided to join the conversion completely oblivious to what is the topic at hand, suddenly hoping to drag the discussion into definitions instead.

Now that i think about it, IMC may actually bother to label this game into full released when the free players gets in.
