The sooner they let everyone in, the sooner they will fix all the problems that will occur when the whole population logs in.
And mark my words, when OBT starts, all the reasons that they did this for will be for nothing, because they will STILL have the same problems that they are concerned about. It’s all about the money for them, stop being naive. The fact that they didn’t change the prices almost at all since their first deal, nor are the prices different on the three different choices on this second deal.
They are not dealing with the problem, they are avoiding it and cashgrabbing.
You can access the server for 10$ instead of 50$. So it is not a fact that they didnt changed that prices.

Still a changed compare to the initial pricing. If you want it to be totally free then youre just hoping the impossible. People took the bait already, which is through pay to access perks. It was obvious because people are greedy by nature.
I just don’t want to support this practice, that’s all. And no, price is still 50$, not that it matters to me.

There’s no reason to drag that out. They should’ve opened the game for everyone and dealt with the problem head on with REAL solutions.
If you only care for the early access thing why would consider getting the 50$ if you dont have budget for it? Following this thought they gave you choice if that 50$ is too much for you which is the 10$ alternative.
Yes they would still deal with it but experience dictates that you should follow a soft landing instead of nose diving on the ground. They can prepare for the worst and manage them accordingly.

You need to not be able to access this current deal in order to even be entitled in the way you’re implying I am. I got 3 offers for founder’s pack already, so I can pretty much get in for free.
Also, I am not unhappy with the current deal at all. I got what I wanted (Only 1 month early access, because that’s the best that we could EVER get from IMC, because they just want this cashgrab and nothing’s gonna change that). It’s literally what I asked for in various posts that I made. (Feel free to go, search and read through them)
That doesn’t mean that I think that this is the best option, I just think it’s the best we could hope for from IMC, considering what their first deal was.

Clearly they are dealing with the problem by taking the softer route. Why would you crash your airplane if you can land it softly?

Does it really matter if I’m poor or rich, if there’s three people that are willing to buy the founder’s pack for me, thus making this early access completely free for me?
They are avoiding the problems that need to be fixed by using the early access paywall. Problems that they won’t fix by running this early access. Problems that WILL occur when the game is opened up for everyone.

Early access will have about the same amount of players that iCBT2 had, if even that many. How exactly are they going to push the server any harder than it already was?
Even IF a bit more people played in this early access, which isn’t likely, than in iCBT2, it wouldn’t be a significant increase to really make a difference and give any new information about the server and what it can handle.
Not to mention, the early access will be -bots, so not only will they not get ANY new information about the server, they will actually get WRONG information.
The amount of inconvenience from extreme lag is unacceptable for players, this usually happens during the initial phase of the game. Thats why theyre taking it in very slowly so they can manage or lessen that. Lag will always be there but the lag during the initial launch is just too much. Or probably they dont have enough servers yet to cater the bigger playerbase so they needed time to install the additional servers.
I believe they said they are trying to stabilize the international release a bit before releasing it to the general public in its entirety.
I think the offer IMC proposed was a fair compromise. They reduced the EA time by two months and added a variety of price points which enable users to enjoy the same EA time for various price points. Getting into the EA no longer requires you to be forced to buy the TP if you want in.
It was a fair solution and while it is not entirely free, the gap between EA and F2P is more manageable. Some may argue that one month is still a long time and it is, but it’s not as bad. The poll was rigged, I don’t think anyone can argue it wasn’t. They obviously wanted people to choose the one month period.
However the EA, as it is is now, has been explained, apologized for, more accessible and flexible in its price. I think, all things considered, that this is extremely fair and given how the users voted, it is likely what IMC will roll out with.

You SHOULD accept the lag and all the bullshit that most of the games have at launch. They should then calmly deal with it and everyone’s happy.
Some frustration for minority that only wants to play, rather than making the game better for everyone, but who cares about them.

If you read any of my previous posts (not here, on the forum in general) and what I was hoping for, you would know that I got exactly what I asked for. However, I asked for it because I thought that they simply can’t give us a better offer, based on their first offer of three months.
BUT that doesn’t mean that I think that this is the BEST deal FOR THE GAME. I think it’s just avoiding the things that will happen anyway. (lag, crashes, bots, queues)
In my opinion, it should’ve been tackled head on, with the whole community.
Anyway, the sooner the early access ends, the sooner we will get to dealing with those problems. That’s why I’m content with the lowered duration.
