What should I do guys?

TL;DR version below

Soo, I just started playing yesterday. Me not paying attention, I just hit select server (which was the top one Verana SEA) and started up. Well, I figured since there were so many people playing the lag was a normal occurrence for now. I play from Florida so now I’m suspecting it to be pretty much ping. Although, in less crowded areas I experience very minimal ping issues and the game is quite playable.

With that out of the way, I just hit level 51 and I was chatting with my grinding group when everyone was saying where they were from. They were all confused when I said I was in Florida. “Aren’t you lagging really bad? Why are you on this server?” Were the questions asked and I told them I didn’t know there was a server for NA.

Come to find out, I did some research and found out that Orsha and Klaipeda were NA based servers. I made a character on Orsha and ran around up to Orsha and literally saw all of 4 or 5 people. At this point I’m being spoiled with literally no lag and I can actually jump attack around monsters and essentially never got hit by attacks.

I messaged a guy who was shouting and asked him if the population was good and he said it was decent but mostly all level 150+. Great, that isn’t going to help me level my terribly hard to grind with full support cleric/priest c3/chaplain until I get to chaplain.

I ran around some more and it was a ghost town!

I made a character on Klaipeda and got the same exact results. Amazing ping, no lag, but it was a ghost town.

At least when I was on verana SEA there were people everywhere and I met some really cool people I played with and would like to continue playing with.

TL;DR
Here’s my question, is the population on Klaipeda good enough for me to start over there since apparently I won’t be able to buy tp or tokens on the SEA server with my friends since I’m US based? I enjoy playing with people across the world. No offense to my NA homies but I don’t want to just be stuck playing with them.

I’m torn between starting new on a NA server so I could possibly buy tokens or suck it up and deal with high ping and not being able to buy tokens so I can kick it with my international homies.

Unless you’re really tight with your new friends, I’d make a character on an NA server and just keep an open chat with the people you’ve met in a Discord or something. And then, when you’re high level and bored, make a character to play with your SEA brothers. OR do the inverse, play with them first, make a second team when you fall out of pace/hit the top.

The game is really, really tough to play with lag issues honestly, especially later on when you need to actively time CCs and move away because enemies are tanky as hell and hit hard. Plus, yeah, being able to buy premium stuff is kind of a big deal, even if it’s easy to farm ingame silver for tokens.

At first, everyone was basically on the same server. They did server transfers manually, meaning that there are still people from around the world still playing in NA severs. Granted, not as much as before, but I’m sure you can find some stray aussies and whatnot.

If you do decide to restart on NA, I can play with you. I have a group of 2 others, and we go through the quests pretty well.

OH, as for the city I start in, I start in Orsha.

I’ll be making a new character for this. At 79 I’ll drop playing the new archer and switch to my barbo where the two others can join us. You can go ahead of me at any time if I hold you back since I’m pretty caught up in real life stuff currently.
