What should I do about my +15 Grand Cross full Potantial that made people in chat hate and threaten me?

Oh I see why people are salty there. Its the sea server hooray. We still dont know the truth. The timing for your achievement is bad thats why this happened. Sea and Sa are both salty servers you know. Just ignore them.

Indeed. With all the exploiting that went down itā€™s hard to believe the legit cases when they happen.

Is used to figure out what happend after the fact. Dont go making up statistics about none-existant cases, it dont work like that.
Unless 209 people tried to make a +15 GC, and you have the stats for all of these attempts, you cant use this argument.

If his objective is to make the best GC, why suggest selling it? Upgrade it higher, it still has 6 potential left after all. Or socket it.

You could of left that part out, I think.

Too many salty and jealous people. Crab mentality at itā€™s finest! :imp:

Gratz on OPā€™s luck!

back in the old days before we had bonuses and what not, +10 was the max and there was no way to ā€œimproveā€ your chance though everyone had their superstitions. Anyway, the current % chance from 0-> 10 is
Upgrade Lv. 1 Lv. 2 Lv. 3 Lv. 4 Armor
4.8% 0.96% 0.24% 0.0384% 0.0384%

Level 4 weapons, .0384% and same for armor. This is why I compared it.

Even with cash shop bonuses the level 4/Armor % chance from 0->10 is only .29% chance.

People do it. Theyā€™re expensive but you can find them being sold on the market. It happens. I used to do it myself all the daggon time. It was a great way to make money. Granted you had to have a crazy amount of the base weapon unless you were insanely lucky.

Nope cbt was worse. There was a +25 potentia and a +41 ignition on the shouts. There are also level card exploits and silver exploits. The old days were worse.

Itā€™s just like winning the lottery. Highly unlikely, but not impossible.

lol this is nothing, i have a friend getting harassed for trying to sell a +10 ignition. Itā€™s only +10, itā€™s not perfect eitherā€¦ and yet he got so much hate itā€™s ridiculous. feels like a witch hunt

About your quote. He ask me many time that he want to +16 but I forbiden him coz I think +15 is max and the more will make the item broke. But he didnā€™t trust me than he try to +16 his shoe and it decrese to +14. So finally he stop trying to +16 anymore.

I donā€™t understand when I read all of your comment than he get mad and trying to threaten me that if he got ban he will quit. I said threaten me canā€™t prove anything he should help me explain to gm, and let gm check his account is the best way. I just feel bad about everthing I try right nowā€¦

I say just keep it. RP a little. Think of it like a family heirloom handed down through generations in the house of Zā€¦

People are beingā€¦suspicious, is a better word to use.
Being completely supportive of something suspicious is just as bad as being completely hostile against it, you know.

Itā€™s because of the real exploiters that this happens.

From +15 to +16 is no harder then +10 to +11 is. You talk as if itā€™s 100% guaranteed to get to +15.

This particular case is pretty damn suspicious if you notice the things like + 15 boots, +15 being considered easy to get by OP, the trade for the petamion/battle bracelet. (thatā€™s something someone who is used to doing this would trade for)

Someone that has been doing this for a while now shouldnt be surprised that people are suspicious, when was that any different?

Anyway, either way it doesnt matter.
A players words isnt going to get someone else banned, whether they would deserve the ban or not.

Regardless of exploit or not, the GC was made with the sole purpose of selling it for a lot of silver/high value items. Regardless of what the OP claims about ā€˜ā€˜getting the greatest GC everā€™ā€™. So keeping it is not an option, I think.
Besides he already has another one (a zero potential one, equiped)

Thatā€™s not how I read it at all.

Ye, i just noticed it tooā€¦ he want to make perfect grand cross and now he want to sell it? wtf? how does that make senseā€¦ and are you guys even brother? what if its just one person who has two account.

Iā€™d say keep the weapon and get better gear by running instances/collecting silver and buying the items with it. A +15 GC is an incredible weapon for level 40 chars and itā€™d be extremely useful if he ever starts another archer char.

About the others complaining : let them complain. People will always be jelous about other people having better gear and go for the for them most comfortable assumption that he cheated, since if they think in their minds that he cheated they donā€™t have to feel jelous.

That being said, i too wonder : why did your brother go through so much trouble and wanted to make a perfect +15 GC but now he wants to sell it?
If i went through so much trouble and wanted a perfect +15 so badly iā€™d never sell it. Just curious.

So youā€™re saying all people who won the lottery cheated? Winning the lottery is far less likely than getting a perfect +15 weapon in TOS.

If i roll a die 10 times, are you saying itā€™s impossible for me to roll 10 6ā€™s in a row and the only way this would happen is via cheating?

Considering how long the game has been out for (not very), and how many people even try to +15 anything (not many), and the total population of this game (tiny), further reduced by the people who actually post on these horrible forumsā€¦ Well, are you sure the statistics still support this?

There are also social factors such as the predisposition of cheaters to make ā€œplz sir believe im legit puppy eyesā€ threads, because thereā€™s an expectation that this game is so badly managed that this is even a thing, and theyā€™re probably right. It probably does work.

All of these things must be weighed, and while thatā€™s more or less impossible to do exactly, a simple educated guess led me to my stance of ā€œguilty until proven innocentā€.

What you are saying is technically correct, but it isnā€™t the whole story, see?

Itā€™s possible heā€™s actually being legit and is now being hate shamed and hunted for it, which with this community is a thing. On a Dio sword, I did manage to get +10 on it without breaking it once and itā€™s holding my Rodel pretty much straight to 120ā€™s gear range. And I see people trying to hunt down peeps with +10s as if someone needs to exploit to get to it.

Itā€™s also possible heā€™s fabricating the story. Not to discredit if it actually is real, but we have no way of knowing aside OP and his conjecture. They may have not known about the witch hunts, or maybe they did and did it anyway.

Weā€™ve entered Schrodingerā€™s Box. The safer route would just be condemning it, but then thatā€™s straight discourage anyone from upgrading anything if weā€™re just gonna condemn anyone who goes beyond +10. Which is terrible considering upgrading is fairly 50/50 meaning it happens or it doesnā€™t.

have you seen someone won a lottery without even failing once? no? then your argument is invalid.

well I got 2 arde in a row with my new reroll characterā€¦ sadly I do not need it coz Iā€™m currently peltasta. thatā€™s RNG for me.

This post was flagged by the community and is temporarily hidden.

that awkward moment when you call out +15 full potential weps on global and get 20 people showing you theirs which they all claim to have gotten ā€˜ā€˜legitā€™ā€™

i guess these .48% are being handed out like candy amirite?
