What really make Boss's trap very annoying

I don’t care if it can apply slow, Immobilize , attack down or defense down on me , really, I don’t care.
What I care is, when I charge up skill like Lv15 Multishot and unload it to a Boss, Then a trap on the feet of the boss eat more that half of the arrow!!!
And also when I use auto targeting skill like Bounce Shot , more than half of it go to Trap instead of boss minion.

I suggest you dev, If you really not going to remove it, please make it can’t be hit by player’s attack plz…

i think u can do target lock? no?

Ground target skill can’t lock dude.

Lure it out of the traps?

Playing as a sapper/bokor/linker being able to attack the traps is a godsend. Even as a swordsman it’s easier to just break the traps than it is to keep running out of range. Archer is literally the only class that benefits from this suggestion. I don’t want to see those other classes nerfed just because multishot sucks.

Thats why traps are there, to… trap you? Make your fight harder, right?

So I don’t see the problem, also you have many ways of countering, and boss fights are too easy already.

As otter says, I really like how people can creatively do other things to the traps, like link them to the boss and just melee attack the trap to deal the damage.

Bosses are big, you can aim the multishot so no traps are in range.

Playing as peltasta there is nothing more infuriating as boss casting silence traps beneath/around himself and refusing to be kited out of them. Why the F-word silence affects auto attacks?

How can one swing a sword, if he can not yell?.. Come on now be realistic…

Also I don’t think traps need nerfed, its not that hard to lure pretty much all bosses (is a few that don’t move) away from traps… or just stand away so he spawns the traps away from himself… I think we could use more harmfull traps though that hinder all classes more in different ways… Cause right now they are almost a non-factor…

until you get launched in the air by some random boss attack and land right on top of couple mine traps - instant death.
OR you until get launched in midair by some boss attack and then boss teleports on top of you and sets off his AoE attack (pretty much dota2 Shadow Fiend’s ultimate style) - instant GG (i got like 10k worth of damage like this while i had only 5k on a cleric/priest).

And there is no protection from launch attacks - they send you flying even through block and evasion is not 100%.

I agree traps are annoying at hell. But that is what they’re invented for.

And in this case, it’s your problem. You must choise where you shot to make it worth. it’s not dev’s duty. lol.

Already happened… Bear traps can be deadly to if you walk on one… But those case aren’t often enough and only some bosses use mines… I like when you magically teleport on top of the boss(he runs into you) just as your casting a heal spell… So your heals are now floating in the air and you can’t get to them…

Anyway I still think some bosses, maybe dungeon or maybe field bosses should have more potent traps… or maybe better trap laying AI… So it doesn’t just put them all ontop of you… so you can easily just walk to the other side of the boss and its like the traps don’t exist… But spread them out more… No point having traps if they aren’t doing a lot … Considering how long the boss does nothing while its setting up traps… It might just be making them flat easier to kill…

Deal with it, that’s their purpose.
