What (online game) will you never play again?

One game per person if you can help it.
(it’s messy to read more and people will usually ignore multiples!)
Preferably a game that is still ongoing as a service.

Warframe

I spent almost two years since CBT on this game, enjoyed the social ties I made. (left awhile ago)
I quit for two reasons, one that the game is fairly repetitive in gameplay.
Two, that I didn’t like the business choices of the game.

I was a paying customer, even paid for founders and continued buying after.
I felt it took freebie players for granted and I still believe it does that. (though many disagree)
Still a good game, but I will likely never return. (need some amazing circumstances to turn me there)

League of Legends.

I played it for a bit more than 3 years I think. I spent about 20k RP or so.
Stopped when DotA 2 came out.
Nothing interesting to do in the game anymore. Devs removed all interesting builds in the game, updates come slowly now despite them having financially grown into oblivion, match-lobbies have degenerated into people “calling their lanes” which is like looking someone on Youtube comments writing “first!” Has become a lethargic game experience overall. Well, I saw it coming the moment China’s giant Tencent took over.
Made the best of the game while it still had the elements that made it fun.

WoW. Played it for a month, the game just doesn’t suit me.

Combat Arms, based in the most exploitable game engine ever built (I could glitch that thing in about 40 different ways).
Grand Chase, because people evolve and learn with their mistakes.
Perfect World, proudly brought to you by PWE = Pay To Win Entertainment.

Currently a tie between Final Fantasy 11 and League of Legends. FF11’s crappy support team turned me off from the game completely and LoL made me bored after several hours of playing. Community of both assured I’ll never return.

A good two to three years ago, i got myself access to the internet. Before that, we only had ISDN, which was obviously to bad for anything but the simple textdocument.

In that time, i played three MMORPG’s. I never played any MOBA or competive MMO, because im not a fan of PvP - i naturally hold myself back against humans. I guess im to nice.

The three MMORPG’s i played were Realm of the mad God, or ROTMG for short, Maplestory Europe, and Latale.

I had fun with all three of them. Sadly, i had to abandon ROTMG since the amount of hackers increased significantly in the time i played, and updates were far and few. As for Maplestory Europe, ugh. I really had my fun leveling a good dozen of different chars, but the bugs, hackers, low community (low in all sense) and the absurd pay-to-win made me abandon it aswell. As for Latale, im exhausted, but it is definately better then Maple in ALL senses. Better login, very low pay-to-win (im actually able to compete in endgame dungeons! ), nice animations, and very rare bugs. Though i miss Azwan and Supreme. …not that it matters since bothe never worked!

But, all these game are… old. I wanted to join a fresh community. Either (or maybe both) of Tree of Savior, or of Maplestory 2.

Maplestory.

Once I got a taste of PvP in MMOs…Never I’ll play a full PvE MMO ever again.

Ragnarok Renewal 1. Played 2 month and it was so boring… Lol my whole adventure was based on 3 fricking Ti dungeons. It was almost the fastest way to level up. I was like 150lvl ranger. Quest quality was good and long but most of people have abandoned them because rewards sucks so bad. Mvp hunting is fun but there is always 5 genetic waiting to kill same mvp in 1 room. Also Drop of mvp sucks so badly that only thing people hunt is the card and it almost impossible to get.

Conquer Online, pure P2W. Actualy all the TQ games are P2W.

Definitely Age of Wulin. The game is awesome with lots of unique mechanics you will not find in any other MMORPG and lots of potencial, but at the moment it is the most pay2win game i know. If you wont to have any, even the slightest chance if competing against anyone, you have to pay for it, what is more, paying does not instantly make you stronger, it gives you a “chance” to get stronger… Staying weak and just enjoying your time playing is out of the question since you can (and will) be PK’ed by any random person that just feels like killing, and most probably you will get oneshotted.

Don’t blame Renewal, blame iRO.

As for the topic: WoW. I don’t enjoy the leveling progress and the graphic style. The PvP is not that great.

Absolutely Ragnarok Online 2. The first video game that successfully made me slept in front of my computer.

Maplestory

I don’t think I’ve experienced a game that was as P2W.

Play any TQ Digital game and Maplestory will seem tame by comparison.

TQ games now are full of scammers/hackers and what not, the more you expend money on their games eventualy you get a personal GM to help you on stuff related to hacking/scam, a friend of mine got his, she got hacked other day by the guy she married in-game, and thats the second time she did haha, i told her, you still belive in ppl you just met, i was the exception because im honest, but not everyone in the world is like that silly.

RO2 LofS, Tera Online, Aion, Audition, Priston, Mu, Mapple Story, and other million generic games.

Aurakingdom, and for that matter any aeriagame.

I was interested in AK when it came out as FF in TW.

Got into streaming it for media, wrote an article, eventually got out of the mmo media scene and became a volunteer GS for the game.

It’s beyond me why I made those decisions, but the game was horrible on the competitive scene and massively slow on updates. Also getting deeper into Aeria and understanding the people that work or volunteer there has made me understand just how bad things can get there.

Every other mmo, I’ll maybe give a shot again, but never an Aeria mmo.
