i dont know if some swordy build can deal with the higger hp and damage of the new mobs.
i have a sw, pelta and barb 3, i think to do sw2 and finish with dragon 2 but i dont know if that build can do quest and kill mob at lvl 300…
Most people party for questing at those lvls now.
hoplite 3 doppel dragoon c2 is a great aoe build for all pve purpose, same goes for barb 3 doppel 3
a fencer 3 is more of a single target build but the damage is definitely there
i am playing a pvp cata 3 dragoon c1 lancer and deal with them just fine, so my guess is any one of the pve builds i mentioned is great
i personally play a hoplite 3 that is currently a hoplite 3 doppel 1 at rank 6 and i find the class very strong going to the dragoon c2 route, definitely can handle rank 8 stuff just fine
you can never go wrong with a dragoon c2/doppel c3 in the current content.
Don’t know about fencer much never played one.
I have a fencer C3 and I can solo most R8 content with barrier scrolls and a lot of patience + using my CC skills effectively.
Monsters are mostly doppel heaven from my experience since there’s very few new plate monsters, some leather monsters, and a LOT of new cloth monsters
however if you’re going solo you can’t use DOV too much vs physicals, you’ll die.
Alembique cave is a nice place for doppels to solo if you’re not into parties.
definitely a hoplite c3 dragoon c2 build for solo.
