What Kind Of MMO Player Are You?

Just curious really. Are you the Lone Wolf type who likes to play on his own and only teams up when they HAVE to and would rather they didn’t have to use the chat. Or perhaps you’re the social butterfly and you don’t care if the gameplay is the best thing since virtual slice bread but if no one is talking or partying up the game is dead to you.

You may prefer PvE or PvP or both as long as they are fun.

There are those will spend crazy money on Cash Shop items and those who refuse to (except to increase their inventory lol).

And when it comes to classes you may have a preferred type, you may actually decide to try ALL of them, research and stick with the one that is most efficient to you or look at guides and see which one looks to be most effective. Or you may just say “lol” and pick a random one.

So how would you describe yourself when it comes to playing MMOs?

I would say I’m out to have the most fun possible.I’m not a hardcore MMO player, but I do put in a lot of hours.

My goal is to play the class path I like and make friends along the way, especially ones I can party/level with near the same rate but also stop, sit somewhere for a while and chat about whatever we want.I love things like that.I like to treat MMO’s as a relaxing escape from the grind.

I also put a good bit of money into ones I play, because I like to support development of games I like and be a well-off player;along with having a lot of costumes/accessories to choose from.

I’m usually a Lone Wolf, but like to team up sometimes. Because being social is needed sometimes…
I love PvE, and PvP when I’m ready for it. XD

I can use money for fun, not to boost my character, personnaly. (Clothes, Costumes, Inventory and In Game Goodies.)
For classes, I fell in love with Fencer, because I always liked the “Rapière”, and the fighting style.
And Pied Pipper, because Bards are awesome, classy and they will surely have MAGNIFICENT skills/spells sounds.

So, I’m basically… Me.

I am the afk sleeper MMO player standing next to a bunch of others doing the same talking about random stuff wasting time until the other thinks of something interesting to do that we all agree on and we all follow and do stupid stuff.

That is a really long run on sentence. o.o

this thread remind me of this > https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yxpW2ltDNow am kind of a lazy explorer and I like playing with others even when I act like a lone wolf, I keep communication to not feel lonely

I want to travel across the land, searching far and wide… :sunny:

solo player, anti-social, cares alot about player-killing… it might change in this game though

Loner irl, it had a thing for me. To the point were i can never really make friends in a mmo. Typing “Can i add you?” or “Wanna play together?” for a guy who played mmo grinding to max lv and never had a single add in friends list was… hard…
But…

It never stop me from Exploring the land, or farming items. Solo Owning a raid boss by running around each time my skill was on CD/ Poping pots like MAD!!!. When it came to PvP, it was something to kill time but that’s it. You can Own or Get Rekt. Cash shop? plzzzz more like Easy Mode… I don’t play games on Easy. I was brought up watching Kung fu movies, Bruce, Jackie, Jet, Donnie etc. So fighting Classes with Fist are always the first class i would make 100% second would be assassin.

So how would I describe myself when it comes to playing MMOs?
The Guy who try’s to figure out how to solo Bosses by himself(until it fact that you cannot solo), while farming Artifact sets and becoming just a face in the crowd. #Shadow of the Land.

I’m the type that plays a ton then gets bored then quits because I don’t feel like having to gear myself up again for new content updates

it never ends…

Each monster to understand, the power that’s inside…!

Monster cards! Gotta grind’em all! It’s you and me.

I know it’s my destiny…! Monster cards! Oh you’re my best friend,
in a world we must defend!

Monster cards! A heart so true, our courage will pull us through!

You teach me, and I’ll teach you, monster cards! Gotta grind’em all!!

Every challenge along the way, with courage I will face!

I will battle everyday, to claim our rightful place!

Come with me, the time is right, there is no better team. Arm in arm, we’ll win the fight!

It’s always been our dream!

I’m the type that gathers friends and plays with them forming guild and leveling together for the fun but when it comes to lone-wolfing I like to figure it on my own but enjoying playing with others. Could also be quite a bit hard headed when fighting bosses considering I just wanna smash their face in.

I’m the type that would love to socialize and play the game with others, but always too nervous to ask  (even if it is only just a game) That’s why it takes me a long time to get dungeons and etc done xD

Definitely a party player here. I get bored playing by myself in MMOs (why single-player an MMO when I could single-player console games?), so I like to drag friends into playing or making new friends if needs be. I also like playing utility/support classes more than just straight-up DPS, so that makes the solo experience harder for me too. Same thing applies for PvP: can’t 1v1 to save my life but I love the chaos of group PvP.

I don’t mind a party, but im very introverted, so in the past i would almost never activily join one. Hopefully i have remieded that somewhat, we will see.

Other then that, i like to explore, and i also like achievements. Even better if they go hand in hand. I will stay far away from pvp though. I never liked fighting humans on any account. The only acception would be if they were a great danger to others - which pvp clearly isn’t - or they are “cursed” in some way, like the splicers in bioshock.

Most time, the Lone Wolf type…

But I know how to be sociable, influential and make peoples like me… My other personality i’ve created to be successful on mmo’s and games that we need to talk with other peoples. /o/

and… my weakness is that I always like to be the number 1 in all mmo’s I play, ever!

Honestly, I’m like the lone-wolf type but I love to join up in groups if possible. Getting to know new people and have future teammates for tough fights etc. I tend to stay around the PvE aspect till I find that PvP is necessary later on which is my opinion end-game PvP. I wanna take it farther with this game and really get involved with community overall for this game so I might aim to be pretty social. I hope to meet many of you in-game for sure.

I really enjoy an MMO when I’m part of an active guild because It’s fun to chat with other people, who also plays the game, while you’re grinding quests and dungeons. The last MMO I played was Eden Eternal, I played it for months and I got two characters there, A lvl 60 Magician and A lvl 65 Samurai but I stopped playing when my guild started to become inactive. So you could say I like to play MMOs if I have friends waiting for me and ready to help whenever they can.

I’m also more of a PVE MMO player didn’t really got into PVP that much, because the RNG god is too cruel on me :frowning:

But anyways in TOS I already joined a fb group, that will make a guild(An active one) and they are from my country too so I don’t have to google the world clock whenever we setup a raid or an event.

I’m just a casual player that gets in and out of parties as I like. Not much of a talker, and don’t like to argue either. Discussion is fine, but not as much as intruding into other people’s life and/or gossiping others. If you ask, I’ll answer with the best of my ability.

Also, somehow I’ll always ended up party-ing with female IRL players. I don’t even know why.

Commonly known as the guy you PM when you need support, healer, buffer, tank. Yep, the good guy.

I typically play solo, but I do have a few friends from GC that will be playing this game. We’re a small group, but we’re
