Probably Rodelero, as they actually have a provoke, and probably have better armor access due to the swordsman tree. They also probably have some shield / defense based attributes they can pick up to help excel at such a role. Additionally, I think Monk would be a better “tank” than Paladin within the cleric tree.

The best tank are the one that took Peltast class with Swashbuckling skill (Provoke skill in other games). As the main role of the tanker isnt to increase their defense, but to get aggro away from the DPS.
Peltast has access active blocking stance and aswell as on Peltast R2 have access to High Guard which increases passive blocking rate.

Peltasta is a must for those who want to become an ultimate tank in the late game.

hmm best tank… well either way tank should be manuverable and agros mobs always… becuase theyll attack support class eventually and they must act emidiately @_@" though i dont know what class/build is better suit for tanking… just keep in mind= provoking,high defense is the key point of a tank in PvE
