i was wondering what is a good amount of dex if only purely for hit? im going hoplite 3 so im not really going for dex for crit or dodge. and whats a good amount of dex/hit to get for PvP?
try 1 every 10 levels or 5
If you don’t go high DEX (around 200+), you can’t expect yourself to hit Archers that also use high DEX build.
However, you can grab gears that increase your accuracy for the solution. There are plenty of 1handed spears out there with bonus accuracy. So around 170 DEX should suffice.
there are a lot contradicting points playing swordman at krToS. putting too much strength, you will lose accuracy and also critical rate. but putting too much dexterity, strength attack output is not pretty enough. things worked out good at 1 star maps monsters and also worked still fine with 2 stars maps’ monsters. now, when we talking about 3 stars maps, monsters HP/DEF dramatically increased. even full DEX player cannot fully dodge the mob attacks. putting one side STR stats, will lose efficiency at PVP. the other way round at DEX stats, will lose strength at PVE… it is a wellknown issue at krToS, but some swordman feel still fine to live with it. that is one of the reason why swordman can’t win much in PVP
and that is the main huge reason why i quit swordman from krToS and go for archer at iToS…
in actual, swordman has to worry about CON stats too. but swordman does not have enough stats to point.
now we speak about PVP. everything is very imbalance and very alpha state for now.
cleric has special ability skills like SZ, heal, tons of good buffs.
wizard has special ability skills like link, sleep, many aliament status buffs. furthermore, range attack.
archer has good attack rate per second and also highest damage output per attack. furthermore, range attack and long stealth ability.
swordman? nothing special except dash rush. no special multiply math on HP or DEF. unless you choose peltesta and rodelero. but that will contradict to your attack. it is not the swordman native power.
tree of swordman is only legit before lv200 (iCBT2). anything after lv200, tree of archers 
I have always thought that Swordsman will fall off at late game content. That’s why IMC shouldn’t have nerfed Barbarian in the first place just because a lot of people are crying about it.
hmm I understand I probably would not use it much for pvp but its more so being ready for an opponent on the fields (im going Templar as my R7 so if a guild war takes place need to have enough dex to hit enemies)
in the last patch, they boosted a bit barbarian attack but i didn’t try out… i quit playing swordman when i realized this theory
more complains will come from iToS later, we will see how IMC solve this issue.
don be so pesimistic, it has not to be DPS swordman way for a templar. tank + support role is really good for a templar:
swordman => peltesta => peltesta => peltesta => squire => squire => templar.
Try 0, just refine your gloves for more acc. And for pvp i have had no problems with the provided gear.
