What if there was stat saturation?

What if there was ‘stat saturation’? i dont know if thats the right term.

What I call stat saturation is essentially requiring more points to increase a single stat, the higher the stat goes up. That way we wont have bloated single stat builds, if there is no stat limit. Some classes will have less stat saturation like Swordsman will have less saturation on STR, Wiz on INT, Cleric on SPR, and Archer on DEX?

wiz/cleric will still pwn swordies

they will go from not killable by swordie to just kill swordie first.

The term is “Soft Caps”, and the game has an exponential growth system so it’s clearly not what they are going for.
And as always, what the ehck do I have to do with this?

That or diminishing returns on stats would provide the same result. Which i have been asking for. So i agree with this or diminishing returns either or would discourage 1 stat builds.
