First let me reply to the other person concerning Rush and SP channeling. Yes it does BUT⌠if you are going to PvP and wonât use potions then I suggest you donât PvP at all⌠cause without potions youâll lose on any type of pvp during anything other than 1v1.
Well I only went Dragoon so I canât really say about Corsair, or Dopple but I do believe that they are mostly utility rather than actual DPS or Raw damage classes. Shinobi and Dragoon are in my opinion the best ones as far as damage output is concerned in actual PvP. Also, I really believe that Cata 3 is a must take for PvP not only due to its mobility but insane stun/aoe capacity. Sword 3 is almost a given but you can safely trade Sword 3 for Sword 2 + either Hoplite or another classâŚdepending on your liking.
Point is, honestly, due what you like most but It is really hard to play a closer quarter character in PvP in this game unless youâre Cataphract.

Hmm I see what is your build for your dragoon? I might just reroll and make pelt my second rank and move forward from there to be a dragoon or maybe that class that uses gun and dagger corsair I believe
I went Sw2, Hoplite 1, Cata 3, Dragoon. If you ask me, Sw3 is better⌠but I wanted the finestra even for its first few ranksâŚ
If you wanted focus on PVP donât pick hoplite , hoplite is build for PVE
hopliteâs combo require some setup (buff+spear lunge) to be good
also hoplite damage output is rely on Stab not AA because Finestra changed your attack animation that seem slower than normal
ps. donât underestimate peltasta âmanualâ blocking , you can outplay archer class in pvp with it
thats y im going pd, cc immunity and safety zone is all i need
I think the nerf was on ktos, not sure if changes will apply on iTOS
I didnât want the hoplite combo, I wanted the extra crits for my Rush. 
And youâre completely mistaken about the manual blocking. Unless youâre Rodelero and capable of moving while blocking your block wonât let you win against a kiting archer. Archers are faster than you, hit faster and donât need to be very accurate for their hitbox and AA while on the other hand you do. I have yet to see an archer type of class lose against any swordsman other than a CataphractâŚ
