Its been a while and we havent heard anything from them anymore. Usually games goes in the next phase in a week only, but its been so long.
Nothing wrong with the game, huge problem with the community.
Dunno why you made a separate topic after asking your question in another topic but… here’s my quote anyways
@rhedewayhke
.-. you lost me in your answer … does that answer Junya’s question?
maybe it’s just me… meh.
Patience child, -Winter Wyvern-
That’s because usually CBT’s nowadays are just phases for minor testing and more so for gathering interest and hype.
CBT’s for ToS so far have been just that, test phases, and IMC takes their time adding and fixing major things, making it vastly different between beta’s. The reason there hasn’t been much news is because they’ve been testing a lot of changes and additions in a private NDA beta, nearly every single day.
I can say the translation group is certainly making progress every week
It might be quiet from where you are, but I can say for sure IMC is still there.
People need to be patience and grateful that the game even exist and that some of us had a week to play where some places got only 3.The game isn’t running anywhere…relax and continue with your life,I’m 100% sure the game will come out when IMC is ready.Regardless that Korean has 3 CBT doesn’t mean they don’t care about us or is ignoring us.
@Junya Also probably faster for IMC to work from korean betas as they don’t have to translate every piece of feed back before they can read it. And obviously they would be fluent in their own language.
Yeap… this resumes everything.
your deserve a
bcz your telling the truth.
Them koreans get to play… for like…2 months… while we got to play for like… 5-6 days… some people only got to play for 2 days. YES im salty.
It’s their game /product they’re entitled to test it more in their country…in my opinion.
People need to stop whining and complaining that Korean had more gameplay/testing so what?! lol
Be grateful and contented
Indeed, I want to play this game D:
But, IMC Games KNOWS that this game has so much serious bugs and cruel errors…
In addition, Korean users start to complain IMC game management.
Since Ragnarok online, they are very infamous as horrible game management.
I don’t know what is going on in there; but, IMC should be had more test on global server, too for collecting more data and matualing their game management skills.
However, one thing, in which I can guess, is the game release might be delayed to next year
Yeah, it would suck to have it release at a later date but with the bugs and all, I would gladly wait for them to iron it all out.
But what is this about Korean Users complaining to IMC? What are they complaining about? Would be interesting to know why they’re complaining about game management since IMC is still fixing stuff.
prob got cancelled. hehehe just joking. there has been radio silence on the “home” page of this particular site from whoever from ToS is in charge of the site.
Not sure about the Korean end of it, if anyone from the game is making announcements.
Ah, you should be referred “Granado Espada,” and the game’s problem the game which IMC developed.
IMC Games makes interesting game, only problem is their immatual game management.
Their stupid game management skill devours the well-made game DX
According to the users who play “Granado Espada,” and “Tree of Savior”, said; IMG Games repeats their mistakes again and again.
For example, top rankers of “Granado Espada” are cartelized; and IMC doesn’t care about the cartel.
In the Tree of Savior, the cartel was reputated in Korean server.
When you kill the boss monster, the boss item dropped to only top 7 dps users.
It could be change as Maplestory II boss hunting system (separate users reputation into percentage, and drop a item following the percentage), but IMG doesn’t.
The developer decides to hide the boss monster’s appearance in the map.
Same as you, I don’t mind to wait the game’s release.
I hope they learn some lesson from their mistakes D:
TOS has really nice game system.
Only games that are using their testing period for marketing instead of testing do this. Which is why they are supper buggy on release and lose 80% of their playerbase in the first month. Think Wildstar, SWTOR, TERA, every Battlefield since 3 came out.
They have 1 week test cycles before another fires up because the purpose isnt testing it is to get people hooked so they’ll spend money.
On that note to none of those games performed particularly well. Some would even say badly.
From my view, I get the impression that IMC has a preference to Korean testing for general gameplay related things (as someone else mentioned, it’s easier for them to communicate with their Korean players).
The only time when it’s necessary for other tests is for translations and latency.
So I’m going to assume we won’t see another ICBT for a while, and there probably will be several things that will still need to be translated by the time release date arrives for Korean servers - to which they’ll finally start focussing on ICBT.

Also to the posts above me - The only reason why a game like TERA had a short EU/NA testing phase was because it was already released in Korea for a year prior so the only changes we saw during those beta tests was censorship & translations + the removal of a few features. ToS is pretty much still very new to all regions.
From some fansites/reddit, we still see many class changes (new skills added, some skills removed), often daily even.
I don’t think we’ll get another beta until they reach a stable point.
Heck even our first beta was mainly to test Steam integration.
