What happened to the game

I’ve stopped playing for awhile.
Recently I’ve been reading about the news of this game, seems like it changed drastically last month.
I started a new character today and received tons of exp cards from Wings of Vaivora.
Is this an event?

Exploration now is shared through all chars in the team.

Hi Unlocked,

Thanks for the info. I didnt finish watching your video (dont have 12 hours of free time lol), but seems like this game is now grind-based huh?

Did you get all those exp items from the new player event? I play on Orsha, but i was thinking about moving to Kleipedia so i can get the new player event items, plus Kleipedia seems more populated. Problem is, i already purchased a battlebird on Orsha, and i already have charatcers that finished quite a few map explorations. In your opinion, is it still worth it to start over in Kleipedia?

Thank you.

The game is not completely grind based, you can go the grind route, but questing still give more EXP.

We got some compensation a while ago due to some bug in the DPK system, where some players (who abused it) got a lock down for about 1 week and the non abusers got a bunch of EXP tomes and multiply tokens and reset vouchers (for dungeons and missions).

In the end, the abusers also got compensation, even better than the non abusers tbh.

If you want to level up fast, then yes game is more grind focused that way, but you can always do quests and still hit level 300+

I’ve got most items from new player event, there were few reset vouchers from DPK compensation, but mostly the leveling was easy because of x8 exp tomes from the event.
BTW event ends tomorrow.

Not if you’re a dps build. Grinding monsters 30 levels above you is faster than questing at 10-15 levels above you. I still think that ±30lvl exp window should be opened up more, I want to level faster.

This is entirely wrong. Questing will never give you more exp than grinding. Even without exp boosters you can level faster grinding than questing.

Then it changed in the last patch, I remember to work my ass off in grinding some areas and still being a pain in the ass, then I changed to kill count to get more exp cards lol.

I will try it with my Ele later on, not sure if i can pull that on my Sorc tho, maybe…

Thanks for the heads up guys (girls if any).

Thanks for all the info.

My major concern is, if I skip all those main quests in early level, would I still be able to do higher level main quests without completing the earlier ones?

Also, still seeking you guys’ opinion about whether to start over in Kleipedia server or not.

Yes you will be able to do higher level main quests.

And it’s up to you whether to start on new server or not. The leveling event booster pack is definitely worth it in my opinion, but on the other hand you’ll start fresh without a single silver coin in your pocket.

Ok thanks a bunch.

Btw do you have a complete 100% maps?
I was just wondering what level will a brand new character become when receiving all those adventure cards.
My adventure cards bring a Lv1 to Lv74, R3 Lv13, my main is only 165 at demon prison XD

Not very high. According to the Card Calculator, one of my characters will go from 1 to 160~180 or something just from EXP cards, but in reality that won’t happen at all because each tier of cards has a lower level limit.

My experience with starting new characters (having cleared almost every map before 280) is that you can skip Rank 1, finish Rank 2 in a few minutes of grinding, finish rank 3 in your three dungeon runs and a bit of grinding, and rank 4 will be maybe six dungeon runs (3 at 80, 3 at 110) plus Siaulai x6. This is all with a token and a 45%~ boost from Team Level, so if your Team Level isn’t that high you’ll either take a bit longer or just use tomes.

Still trying to find optimal grind spots for each of the dungeon gaps (75~80, 130~140, 165~170, 190~200 etc).

“Not high” lol, even with level limit that’s a huge increase, it’s literally half max level.

If you’re looking for grind spots, check my guide below, all those spots works great.

The problem is you will always fall short of reaching the next card tier after Level 2 cards. In most cases you will fall very short. The few level 12 and 13 cards I have sitting at the end push the counter a lot higher than it will reasonably go. Sure you don’t really have to play until about level 75, where you will fail to meet the 80 dungeon level req, but after that you’ll be constantly playing catch-up, always struggling to get to the next tier level.

Don’t get me wrong, the cards help a lot, but there aren’t nearly enough of them to level you up for free.

Thanks for the pointer to your guide, I’ll take a look at it.

It’s still insanely high exp boost from cards.

To Twilight calls:

Hi sorry, what is lower level limit? Why is it causing The card calculator to be inaccurate?

Every card has level requirement
example:
Lv 2 Exp card requires level 5 to use
Lv 3 Exp card requires level 20 to use
Lv 4 Exp card requires level 30 to use
And so on…
You won’t be able to use cards that are too high level for you.
Lv 11 Exp card require level 210 and Lv 12 Exp card - 250 level
There is too large level gap to use them all at once.

Oh I see, thanks Unlocked.

Well, like you guys said, no biggie, its still a large boost to exp.
