What game you "mirror" ToS gameplay with?(RO doesn't count)

It reminds me of Action RPGs, but I can’t name a specific one as the ones I’ve played are too different from ToS (Lunia, Grand Chase, Elsword, etc.)

Reminds me of several dungeon crawlers game, camera-wise. Magicka, Divinity:Original Sin are ones that popped in my mind.
Gameplay-wise, reminds me of hammerwatch :slight_smile:

I’ve been playing a lot of Torchlight 2 recently with my wife and find the view very similar. Can’t say anything for the gameplay of ToS though since all I’ve seen are clips from the betas.

I’d have to say Ys. I reaaallly got this Ys vibe from this game.

same with @Erokhi here… Legend of Mana vibe is great in this one…
the companion pet system…
the helper system…
aaand the music…
oh oh and the lodge/barrack system is like our home base too… if only they add garden to our lodge/barrack and add botanist/gardener/farmer class to the game that would make mini harvest moon game too :heart_eyes:

In terms of class & skill system, it reminds me alot of Luna Online.

In terms of camera style, I would say Lunia Online.

As for gameplay mechanics, I can just list a butt-load of generic MMORPG, so I won’t even bother. But to be fair, if I were to compare it to an JRPG instead, I say the combat style is more like Star Ocean =)

in my case… it looks to me like ye old PS1 game (hoshigami, FFtactics,) but a much modern fullblown upgraded version =V

skill wise… some of it can be found on RO2:lots/aov(some(not all) skill i can name are guardian skill on peltasta, stomping kick and cyclone on barbarian)

there is a skill too on peltasta that can be found on log horizon(anime) that is swash buckling(well… different skill description)

Secret of The Solstice. There are mechanics, monsters and the layout is very very similar. (Ragnarok and Secret of The Solstice are basically the same thing)

If you talking about using the arrow keys to move around with MMO title, I would say " Everplanet " by my opinion.
3D map + 3D boss but the players look like " maplestory ".

Been waiting for several years " Everplanet " published the English version but failed …

Whenever I see some complaints about " tree of savior " without release yet and i will feel sad …

Some of you should feel lucky that we do not need to wait for like 10 year again as an old MMO bring you good memories.

ToS reminds me of a children of mana and such other mana games also reminds me of my first mmo Angles online
