Just reached level 200 Fencer was so happy but now thinking what is there for me to do ? From what I understand… I can only do 3 missions and 3 instanced dungeons per day… THEN WHAT ? I come from another game where me and 3 friends would literally farm dungeons all day trying to get that rare end game drop which would eventually drop but I clearly cant do that here. I literally ran the lvl 90 dungeon solo 3 times a day for 30 days and got nothing but Talt.

Another thing since reaching Fencer, I wanted to get the Venier. I looked up where to get the Recipe, farmed it for a day and got it… Next have to farm 12 Fossilized Lizard Amber currently have 6 @ 642 Upent kills only 2 spawn next to each other it took me 7+ hours to get 4 using 3 channels. Now it went from 3 channels to 2 channels and i find myself having to afk afew minutes waiting for the Upent to respawn meaning it will take alot longer then it already was… Sigh… Really considering just giving up…

at least dina bee farm and DP2 has more channels now for bots and afk farmers… huehuehue

Aside the twilight crew coming in to hue at you, the game doesn’t have the social content yet where you can chill. You have to make that content for yourself for now, and meet and chill with people by actually meeting and chilling with people. Not to mention you’re also not yet at the Saalus levels to consider also doing Saalus’ instances along with your 3 missions and 3 instance dungeons along with your item farming. But this is generally the barebones of an MMO system: Farm, Grind, and Cry until Success where you cry tears of joy.

Also Venier is a masochist endgame weapon. Do not recommend farming without a class that boons drop rate, such as Thaumaturge or Oracle. Generally speaking it’s incredibly nice to have but, Catacombs Rapier is much less painless. Honestly I feel getting Spada is easier than Venier without drop rate manipulation, and Spada is a bitch.

I’ve never played a game that had so many restrictions towards the players. At first i didn’t mind being i was fairly new and things like the marketplace, trading or trying to farm certain items wasn’t as important as I was just trying to level. It almost feels like IMC are doing everything possible to discourage people from playing TOS.

Thanks… I just wanted to feel like I actually was able to farm and get something nice. Being that i tried to farm the Arde and failed. I do have catacombs rapier and Karacha dagger but i bought these from market.

I went ~4 months without getting my first Arde. Others I know have gotten multiple Ardes within that time frame. It’s just not your time sadly.

That and, I usually find the 175+ Recipes more worth than farming an Arde, but if you don’t have an Arde for yourself it’s understandable, just eases the leveling process.

You should look at DKP system explanation threads. You’ill get your Venier faster if you understand it.

As for content… You got…

  • Earth tower for your hard PvE
  • Uphill is like a tower defense where your party plays the towers.
  • Guild event stuff that you can farm for giant hamsters.
  • And PvP though client optimization needs to be better and balance is still pretty liquid with PvP only nerfs done fairly often still. And some PvP centric classes about to get release. Inc Lancers.

Otherwise everything is pretty similar get in a party and level a lot. Beat up bosses and elites. Get bigger. Core leveling experience is the same post 200 just a lot more elites. Easier to get parties in the higher level zones as well I suppose.

I only login to do Mission, Rush Dungeon, and Saalus, which takes me like about an hour each day.

That’s it, then I logout and enjoy life.

well TOS is a special snowflakes when it comes to restricting bots and RMT the player-base suffers and they dont give a sh1t :joy:

Derp.
Brought that up at release, got bombarded by people saying it was fine to have limits on dungeon runs and yadda yadda. End game is now a desert and even mid game content is abandoned. Takes me over an hour and a lot of shouts to get 5 people in the level 145 dungeon queue.

I’m honestly enjoying the game for it’s nostalgia value and quests, when those are 100% done, I’m pretty sure there is nothing to do, so… “Chatnarok” all over again. I don’t usually say that I’ve said so, but I said so.
