What does it really cost to awaken an item

I just had my lydeka awakened yesterday for only 20 talts. that is a level 75 weapon. I got a + 7 crit rate bonus on it.
The alche just left me inside and he got out. So they really dont need to also be inside the dungeon.

360k isn’t that high…
It’s the cost to upgrade a Maga Bow from +5 to +6.
And instead of anviling, the odd of getting something nice has a 70% fixed rate and you will not lose one upgrade level if you’re in the “bad” 30% rate.

Requesting moderator assistance, clearly inappropriate.

It actually is pretty inaccurate for non attack stats after comparing it to all the awakens I’ve done

Your prices still absurd tho. If paying for it didn’t eat trade counts I would have set up a thread ages ago offering break even item awakenings because it actually requires 0 effort on my end

I think you missed that we’re talking about Maga Bow awakening price… Nobody talked about Max Peta or the likes. Most of use are charging less for theses.

My n*gger gee_banter charges me 15~17 talt before.

No, it is incorrect for any stat. If you’d be willing to support the database and use it for a while you’d know that. Then again, you’re a troll anyways. Since your roasting bs started, pot prices went up >100s. Good job, hope people notice that you’re cancer for the market.

That’s fine I have no issue with being wrong. Also I’m obviously not the source of potion price increases, but doesn’t that help you guys price gouge anyway? You should be thanking me if you think this is my fault. After all I probably buy around 300 potions a day. I’m basically giving you ez money!

And sorry I won’t ever support anything you guys have to offer!

@lemaitre_dulotus
I think you missed that I was referring to the spreadsheet being inaccurate which has nothing to do with prices at all

Oh, I thought you were talking about the accuracy of my “70%” number…
Nevermind then ~~

No, we don’t want to gouge prices. We want fair prices. And pot prices should be lower.

Then why don’t you go after the person who intentionally caused the price doubling in SP pots and widely admitted to doing so? You know, Gee_Banter. Or is he one of yours? I guess in that case it makes sense from your part to blame and go after someone unrelated who maybe takes away a few gem roasts a day and use him as scapegoat.

Because Gee_Banter isn’t pretending to be “the good guy”. He knows he’s horrible.

So all along you were are aware of the real reason pot prices went up and still chose to blame someone else?

TIL knowing that you’re horrible exculpates you and allows an unrelated third party to get blamed for your actions.

As he answered, he is one of them.

Nah. Proxied has broken his feelings by declining his invitation for your alchemist maf…ops…community.

I really enjoyed my alch in beta when awakenings were OP and if you put in the work to farm the OP recipes and craft/awaken/sell them you could make serious bank, as opposed to nowadays where awakenings are super minor and you just invite someone to party and hit a button then leave the other person to do the awakening. All the changes to awakenings including making them basically another vendor service made alchemist much worse as a class, they’re no longer an active crafting class, just a lazy pseudo-NPC and as a result you see the types of people that the class now attracts.

IMC basically ruined the class concept with their idiotic client side system making magnum opus and awakenings easily data mineable so the only solution from the notoriously lazy devs instead of restructure hidden awakenings and recipes to be server side and promote discovery was to forget magnum opus exists and make awakenings random and shareable. Everything active about the class was basically removed so now you just roleplay as an NPC just like squires and pardoners and soon enchanters, except they provide services that people actually require regularly.

TL;DR don’t try to form a union around ‘fair prices’ for doing nothing; because the fair price for doing nothing will always be - gasp - nothing. Alchemist needs to be reworked again, because unfortunately it doesn’t seem like C3 is giving the class what it needs at all.
