What do you think is the future of this game?

well that’s still ± the amount of players that Ragnarok online has on its “international” server (iRO). FRO (French Ragnarok Online or also EuRO [though EuRO went down because Burda holdings Int did not continue the service]) has significantly less players and still runs, so unless the playerbase drops beneath 1k I think they will continue to run the game.

The thing about iTOS is,though, that it’s badly made, advertized, etc.
The game had so much potential when it was first announced and everyone was like “omg this game looks awesome”; When the game started in CBT, the game was more like “some awes” than awesome for the testers, and currently we are still testers for the sake of nothing.

It would be nice if they’d focus more on remaking the game so that it runs without bugs, uses more CPU power and has less stupid effects that make the FPS drop because you can’t switch them off.

Honestly, during the moments when I can play with 50 FPS I think “this game is amazing”, but when the FPS drop to below 10 in the next moment because something happens I sometimes want to throw my monitor out of the window.

Sure, there are so many things to do that you might think it’s a pain to do everything, but I think this is what makes the game worth playing. You can chose what to do,when to do it, can customize your character with many different equips, skills, classes, attributes, status points etc. that this game deserves its rank in the top MMORPGs.

It would be really sad to see this game die because the managing guys don’t get their act together, because most online “RPGs” nowadays are just poorly made with pseudo-RPG-elements (e.g. Black Desert online or Dragon Nest online) where it doesn’t really matter which class you take or which way you play: the only things that matter are top cash equip, top equipment and mashing the right buttons at the right time when your brain is half-afk because the backgrounds look crappy and the bosses/monsters are really dumb and predictable…

As long as these games don’t die 1st, TOS doesn’t deserve to go prematurely, so I doubt the players will leave the game unless there comes a really good game that’s a crossover between TOS and RO, combining both games strong points while leaving out the weak points.

Well, in my opinion, being here from the start, I feel robbed by IMC with all the changes they’ve announced for june/july, after spending over a year developing my character the best way I could, with all the throwing cash at the tp shop involved, etc, and from one day to another, it might became trash. Don’t se much future here, to be honest. Player population decreasing every day doesn’t help either, it’s starting to feel like a single player game. There’s just nothing to do, Saalus, DG, maybe some farming and selling, broken ET, it just feels like a chore.

what do you think the future of this game is now?

If things don’t change, rank 9 may be the last rank.

I don’t know about there, but in most countries when a company does things wrong despite having huge potential, you replace the things ( non qualified/ incompetent workers) or sell it to a more serious group.
I don’t worry about tos but ITOS future looks awfully grim.

(Srry english is not my main language) At first I thought this game was great and I rlly regreat making my team in Orsha, the server is completly dead i mean even the “social” part of this game in my experience was boring as f… so i wnted to transfer my team to another server but this was imposible so I had to stay there not to mention I was buying tp constantly.

Visually the game is beautiful I also follow Maggi on twitter one of the responsable artists involved in this game, shes rlly an interesting person and do a great job and the others involved in the 3d art, in this side of the game I can say they are very passionated and hard working ppl, but the game is just that, a visual experience, but in other hand the lacking of changes, the same boring rewards, the poor programing the non interersting farming cosmetics or interesting items on monsters (its rlly cool when you have to farm 0.01 stuff or you curious about the drop of everymonster looking for something nice), but nop, the game lacks of this once you get all the dropped interesting stuff that feels like you are playing a new game waiting they implement more stuff. Im not against buying tp to get cosmetics but when thats the only option to keep getting new stuff that sucks. SOme stuff dont fit your head, some of them are too tiny, and others looks awfully big, and I know this is not a coincidense it seems like everything in this game its made with that purpose, you never get the things the way they made you think they will be and instead they got you there waiting for content and changes that never happen. ToS its like that person in a relationship saying she/he will change and keeps doing the same ■■■■ but the only reason you stay its because is “cute” hahaha.

Im a very casual player, those who prefer to farm rare stuff or search for cosmetics, or reading the quest lines and making the most long and boring of them, or get involved with the lore of the game etc, so even in those common aspects of a game i feel disapointed withToS.

This game is just eye catchy, then you realize they dont even care about its own game. The other problem are the prices, the cost of the tp packs are equal to the same prices you see in other big companies like blizzard, but there you get what you buy, and here you get this gatcha things that rarely drops the stuff you see in the season.

i stop playing TOS when they implemented GATCHAS, before that i was playing and buying costumes, it was fun but with time the game become more a homework than a fun experience (farming silver for buy equipment) and now i log in and disconnect after 5 mins of boredom

even D3 with his seasons is more fun
